Curfew from 8pm till 5am. She can't go more than 5km from her house unless she is going to work or school. She can exercise for 1hr a day outside, with a mask and so long as she doesn't exceed the 5km rule. She can't leave the state of Victoria. It's been like this for 4 weeks and she was just notified it has been extended for at least 4 more. ^ Makes our media driven right vs left blame game seem tame in comparison.... but after all, it's what we stupid ass Americans do best... right? And I would bet dollars to dog turds that if Trump had taken Universal action one way or the other the haters would be going absolutely insane about it. But there are plenty of reasons why people don't trust reporting on this even though some don't want to admit it. Besides the fact that the gap between Republicans and Democrats really isn't that large there's the fact scientists who has some folks put on a pedestal or so far off-base in their predictions just a few months ago. Oh yes Woody we know that science is an ongoing process and they didn't have any idea back when they said there was no problem. They didn't say "we're not sure we need more information." If the testing methods are as unreliable as they seem to be it's easy to understand why a certain segment of society would not want to destroy their own livelihoods the economy of the country on a whim. I don't know the exact numbers of how many false positives or false negatives pop-up but there's a reason that the lie detector test isn't admissible in a court of law. I wonder how accurate that would be compared to the bullshit covid-19 tests? And if you have a false positive, and you really think this is a deadly disease, why would a second test put your mind at ease? Seems like you would want an entire battery of tests wouldn't it? Another reason it's hard to get traction for a shutdown is because most people aren't at any real risk. So of course they're going to be resistant about fucking up their lives for a handful of scared old people who don't like to go out anyway. And Deadbeats who finally have an excuse to sit on their ass 24/7. Their problems aren't yours so you and others here don't care, but some other people, believe it or not, don't mind a 1% inconvenience to help stop the spread.
