That link showed Trent Williams still on the table for the Browns as of 1 hour ago.

Surprised to see his name... has to be an availability thing.

Agreed.  When he's healthy though, he's an animal.  Kid came screaming out the gate his rookie season and injuries that year really held him back.

To my surprise, he's only missed 5 games the past 2 seasons.  For some reason I felt like it was going to be more.    Either way, my interest is there. Especially given Woods' desire for playing defenses that require a true center fielder.

Even Bob Sanders had two relatively healthy years...

Two reasons Indy is making Hooker available now...

  1. because he's not on too many game days, and
  2. because this is a loaded Safety class.

We've got our Safeties under contract for 2020, I'd look to draft at least one of our Safeties of the future.

Is it though? I've watched most of these guys and I don't come away with feeling the security of starting any of them in a single high shell.

The safety class may be deep, but it isn't very top heavy either.

Best since 2017... which was the best since? I can't think of a better one.

2020 does lack the Hooker/Adams-level star-power at the top, but is damn near as deep thru Day 2 when 2017 really piled in the talent.

DraftSCout has already moved Chinn to OLB...

Meanwhile back at the thread...

There's a rumor about an old name committed to a team he no longer wishes to play for... but he has a new team in mind...

You're too late.  The deal was already announced that gronk is back, I'm almost 100% sure.

2006 was pretty damn good IIRC.   Hitner, Roman Harper, Bethea, Pollard & Michael Huff.

Old trade, but interesting background from Hopkins on getting out of Houston...

DeAndre Hopkins wanted to get traded by Texans, knew he would be after asking for raise

Frank Schwab - 13 hrs ago

Unlike the rest of us, DeAndre Hopkins wasn’t blindsided by the shocking trade that sent him to the Arizona Cardinals.
