Here is today's trivia Question....plus a bonus:

Bonus:  Only 3 players have rushed for 220 or more yards three or more times in their career.  Name these 3.

Jim Brown....ran between 220 and 249  4 times in his career  (high was 237...twice)   (but never 250 or more)

OJ Simpson.....3 times...including the two above

Jamaal Charles....3 times.

and thats it.

If you give a name...specify which category you are putting the player in.

And the greatest #32 played in the 11 to stop 1 era which greatly helped Gary Collins' numbers because often if he popped open there was nobody else there to tackle him.

Gary Collins obscure trivia, in 1966 Gulf Gas stations had a contest with NFL players game pieces for money with the top prize a 1966 Ford mustang. The rare to get piece was Gary Collins, a guy my dad worked with had the piece but lost it, they tore the house apart looking for it but alas no Gary so no new 1966 Ford mustang.    :(

Since you mentioned AAFC one must be Otto Graham.  The others, hmmmm,. Lamonica?, Marino?,  none just pop up to me right now.

I only mentioned AAFC to go along with AFL records.    So, no  OG is not one,  none were AAFC... but one was an AFL thing.   But neither Marino nor Lamonica either.

Check on Superdome and  Joe Robbie (etc.).....but....currently the Miami Hurricanes play in Joe Robbie....so that would be redundant.  No on the others

The LA Coliseum, the Rose Bowl and........uhhhhh.......Cotton Bowl?

Check on the Rose Bowl.   No on the others.

Two more

And..note this:  No Super Bowl has been held in the LA area for  over 33 years.  Last was Jan.  1987.  (but one is scheduled for  2022).

Name these 5 stadiums.

You all made quick order of this.

Answers:

The Superdome    7 games

Miami..Hard Rock/Joe Robbie yada yada....6 games

The Rose Bowl   5 games

The Orange Bowl  5 games

Jack Murphy/Qualcomm.....3 games

......Also.....I missed one, so I am giving it to you:   Tulane Stadium in New Orleans, before the Superdome built, had 3.

And as noted, Raymond James  will host its third at the end of this year.

The Glendale AZ stadium...which has changed names.....will host #3 at the end of 2022.   The new LA stadium at the end of 2021;  and back to Superdome after 2023
