oh, I'm not condoning swinging the helmet. But he was being attacked by the qb - kicked in the nuts and HIS helmet nearly ripped off started the fray, and slut mason went after him again.

The squealers have done this in the past. Started a fight when they lose.

Miles should get suspended? yep, but so should slut mason, dirty pig pouncey, and a few other squealers.

Pouncey will for his head kicking, I'm not sure Rudolph will. Baker was nails after the game about it, just told the truth.

No it’s not all his fault but the genesis of the situation was caused by I am not taking a knee not giving up the game. And like I said he could’ve had his knee blown out in a normal kind of situation

^ That I agree with and would've just ran the ball had I have been calling plays. However Myles is a big boy and made his own conscious decision, no matter what lead up to that point.

Asking to get hit by a helmet, while not having one on? That was a wussy, b-tch move. You're 270 and have to resort to using a weapon on a QB? Really? If he would have just fought him straight up, OK, I guess.

You saw him being held back. He couldn’t just kick Rudolph’s ass, like he wanted to.

I’m not defending the swing. I’m saying Garrett wouldn’t have swung had Rudolph not charged Garrett, who was already being held back. Rudolph was asking for it, man.

Jesus, just because Rudolf was a little out of control does not justify trying to kill him?  First all this about him kick Myles Garrett in the balls is silly, a he is on the ground kicking up like get away from me.  Plus Myles Garrett wears a cup.  You can get with a fastball  and no damage.  So you throw several million away because this pisses you off?  i don't get it.

Yeah, Miles Garret was clearly the victim here...

I’m not excusing him I’m just saying that by not succumbing to the eminent defeat, that by trying to continue to push they were going to be in for a fight likely. I mean you saw this shit happens when teams get too macho.

Anyone that's ever played the game - and was well coached, they know Myles crossed way over the fucking line regardless of what proceeded it.

Those that didn't play, or were daddy ball coached probably don't get it.

Jumping offsides shows a lack of impulse control???

And please knock off the "he could have been paralyzed" bullshit.... even were he not being restrained by DeCastro Myles would not be able to generate that kind of spine compressing power.

Anyone besides me ever been in a sports fight? I've been in 1 football and 2 basketball (one of which I was the team coach). .. and I never started one of them.

Remember how rationally you reacted: at their start? restrained while an opponent was trying to engage you?

Rationality is the first victim in any altercation.

slut mason says the swing by his own helmet was "cowardly".

hey slut mason - you "cowardly" tried to rip Garrett's helmet off, while he was being restrained.

Geezus man, there’s a difference between trying to pull a players helmet off and using it as a weapon against a player NOT WEARING ONE.

Big problem for the future for him is that expressed no remorse in his interview.  Honestly seeing that guys eyes, and listening to his take on what happened, I'd trade him as soon as possible and avoid him in a bar or restaurant.  He is like a pit bull, friendly but 20% have a gene that makes them deadly.

I haven't seen it yet. I thought for sure he would be nothing but remorseful.

Well I know that when I use a weapon against someone whether shooting with a gun or stab them with a knife or hit them over the head with a bowling ball or use a 12 gauge on them they inevitably go down like a sack of potatoes. But in this case that weapon must’ve been a wholly ineffective weapon because Rudolph was hardly fazed whatsoever. It just was a glance ,he just threw his head up heads up saying what the fuck. Must’ve been a shitty weapon.

Moral of the story, don’t charge a man who is twice your size and has ripped your helmet off, unless you wanna get doinked on the head with it.

Oh nobody said it was smart.   But Garrett and the Browns are the ones who will be paying the price for his stupidity.   Unfortunately it wasn’t a good look for the NFL either.

bs.  I watched him address it in the locker room. He was humble and admitted he lost control of his emotions. It's understandable, not excusable - he had his helmet ripped off after a very clean, gentle sack, and slut mason tried to rip his helmet off, and kicked him in the nuts at least once. Then the other slut squealers jumped on and restrained Garrett, and slut mason went after Garret while he was being held, and tried to punch Garrett in the face. So, Garrett swung a helmet at him to keep him at bay.

Wrong? yep. but so was slut mason, pouncy etc. I mean, which would anybody here rather have - a glancing blow to your head and you're fine, or pouncey stomping 320 lbs into your head and kicked in the nuts?

Trade Myles??? Oy vey....

Myles should not have swung the helmet at any player... but he did and I understand why he did. I hope the league takes that into consideration along with his total lack of any history for this kind of incident.

Only been in one "sports fight" myself - a slow pitch softball fight if you can believe that shit.   (competitive city champ league stuff - not a beer league).

Anyway, while it was not one of my proudest moments, I didn't grab an aluminum bat and swing it at someone under the guise that "it was a fight, and the other dude should've known better than to start it with me".  I knew what the line was, even in that out of control moment............. most do.

This is now how Myles will be remembered...... too bad.

How could he be wearing a helmet if it got pulled off?

1st rule of football: always keep your helmet on. If Mason had just followed this rule none of this would have happened

I never took off an opponent's helmet and then hit him with it.

Bat's a lot different than swinging a batting helmet at somebody. Mafia never beat up anybody using a batting helmet

Bottom line on this game: the Browns are the better team. The Browns are the more talented team. The Browns are the more physical team. The Browns have their issues for sure but they are better than the Steelers. And the silly eight seconds at the end isn’t going to change that between now and the next game they play  What does need to change is the Browns need to become the efficient offense that they are capable of but have not been all year. This game should’ve been her 42 to 7 type game not 21 to 7. We left so many opportunities to score get by them. But they were still able to smash hell out of the Steelers
