TexasAg1969
Regardless of your political persuasions I thought this might be helpful as we are all aging and becoming more vulnerable to financial vultures. BTW a friend who does home visits with the elderly walked in on an old woman in the process of writing a check for $10,000 to one of these unscrupulous "advisors". She called the woman's bank and let them know what was going on as well as local police to deal with this con. Living near Sun City retirement community, there are a lot of such things going on. One guy used the old Ponzi scheme to fleece hundreds of the Sun City residents through investing in a "sure 12% return/year" financial company that he would "run" on behalf of clients. Many were bilked out of their life savings. https://www.newsmax.com/finance/personal-finance/elderly-scammers-exploit/2019/10/21/id/937941/?ns_mail_uid=6d52df85-236f-4a8f-8332-d84fdb5d6ebf&ns_mail_job=DM60972_10242019&s=acs&dkt_nbr=010502zv4i1z
