Freddie max's out at coaching some team in Alabama that is not a major college.  He speaks in platitudes and acts like he doesn't see the flow of the game.  R. Wilson runs in the 4th quarter to win the games.  Happens all the time.  You have to stop him from running.  Plus all these penalties?

Fish rots from the head down.  Cleaning out the coaches after last year's impressive close was incomprehensible.    Another year with the Browns.

Does anyone know if Baker has a drinking problem?  Overweight, slow reflexes, worse than last year.

Damn...im pissed but not this pissed...drinking problem...lol

So many receivers now put their hands under the ball to catch it like their trying to catch a bowling ball or a heavy weight.  Don't real coaches always say catch with your fingers, not palms?  Plus they where gloves.  Lots of balls now pop in the air and make for easy interceptions.  Just like the one the ended the game today. If you catch with on the fingers with one hand above and one below the ball is not going to pop up like a balloon so a D guy can grab it.

Where's Hoorta to tell us all is ok?

I'm here, just digesting what happened. Let's see, first int (I'll have to watch the tape Receivers take themselves out of the play) Second you can blame Kitchens for bad clock managment but again- Baker hits his guy in the hands. whoopsie. Then the very reliable Chubb gets the ball punched out. Then again, on the final non drive yet another Baker pass hits his receiver in the hands that turns into yet another turnover.

Mite as well try our other qb next week. can't hurt Baker fucking sucks this year

You're out of your damn mind if you want to pin this loss on Baker.

When is this team ever going to find ways to win games instead of always finding ways to lose them. This was a game we should have won.

Yes indeed, a few lousy play calls, and you don't beat a good team like Seattle turning the ball over a bunch of times. Add in a few stupid penalties to the mix, and you have yet another frustrating loss.... Lesson from this game- we can play with anyone- now we just have to learn how to BEAT anyone.

Russell got taken down by the jersey of the shoulder out of the pocket and they called a horse collar.

fellas, I’m a smidge from driving to New York before this game is over.

Horse collar calls now are grabbing anywhere from name plate  and up on the back of the jersey. He grabbed the name plate, not the shoulder. Perfect call to the letter of the law.

Why is our back up running back flanked out and trying to haul in a slant on a go ahead score attempt?  Do we have better personnel?

He's our PASS CATCHING RB.   I know it doesn't seem so....but it IS so.

But where are OBJ, Landry, Higgins, Seals Jones even Callaway on that play why is the first read the backup RB?

Because that's how THAT play was designed.

freddie sucks as a coach, however, we have no players that can stop anyone on defense...our defense totally blows...as bad as the couch yrs and beyond....we have creampuff dbs who can't tackle worth a shit...so how are you going to stop wilson...you cannot....not with this d...lbs are slow and never around....again, we suck at putting pressure on any qb....our front ofc sucks...knucklehead jimmy boy is in his plush ofc scratching his head again wondering why or why am i such a football moron....looks like another season of half full stadium games in a couple weeks as the drunken ones who show up yell     hic...what the fuck.....hic....boooooooooo....hic

i get it... but players are human..due to his angle of play, even a Cowboy player has no other choice..the book & refs need to let that play go, unless hands grab yoke of back of jersey..."we just can't let them play" is where this has gone

Again, no.   It's easy yardage when you drag a 31 year old LB with hip issues out wide.  It was a bad throw that resulted in a tipped pass - INT.

Nope Baker is awesome, can't be on him.  Do you know he set the rookie single season passing TD record last year.

Bad throw?

Again-  Why with so many weapons (wait it’s such a Browns thing to do) do you pass up your studs and throw to a backup RB.

obj and Landry can’t beat man to man?

Was there something unclear about my mentioning how that type of look is typically "gimme" yardage....?

Pick up some yards, pick up the 1st down, get your offense in a better spot on the field with rhythm and remove some of that "panic" feeling from bad field position and little clock.

Fine call, poor execution.

You do it to get to 3rd & 5 when you are using all 4 downs....this isn't hard

By design.

When you stick an aging LB out on a RB, I'm going to take the easy yardage.

And if Baker throws the ball anywhere near where it should be thrown, it would have been successful.

You can't throw the ball BEHIND a guy running a slant and expect it not to get intercepted. That game-ender was totally on Baker.

Baker is nowhere as accurate as some on here make/made him out to be.

And Hilliard isn't the backup, he's becoming the preferred pass catching RB

Duke Johnson flips the ball into the air for an interception or does he catch it?

When he's running a slant, and the ball is thrown COMPLETELY BEHIND HIM, Duke would have batted the ball up and it would have been intercepted.

What were you guys seeing the ball was through his hands? Should he have handed him the ball?  Wait that would be better call he’s a RB

Dion Lewis, Alvin Kamara, James White, David Johnson,  Philip Lindsay, Gio Bernard, Christian McCaffery, Duke Johnson and a whole lot of other good pass catching RB's are waving at you right now.        You know very little about this game, I take?

Go ahead and vent, have a drink or five and chill out. We had the 4th and 5th string DBs out there today, or you forget that little detail?  The D  stopped them deep when we didn't score that TD FYI.

While I'm just as upset as anyone regarding our win/loss record, I'm probably leading the group in my overall frustration and shear disappointment of Freddie's coaching - and moreover his play calling.

Freddie looks overwhelmed on the sideline and his play calling reflects that....... He actually told the media dudes in the mandatory Saturday meeting that "the Browns are not a pass first team"?

Well coach, I don't know what to tell you if you can't even recognize your own team. You wouldn't know what 3 straight run plays looked like even if Chubb kicked you in the nuts after an 11yd run.

Right now, it's just more of the same...... Different coach. Different players. Same old record.
