My favorite thing about this thread is how you guys started it by saying how great your team is and how you expected just to tear San Fran up, and then once the game began,  it just started deteriorating pretty quickly.  The Browns have the most delusional fans I have ever seen.  You guys don't see reality, but I'm here to tell you, your team is the joke of the league.  Sure, you guys came in last week against us and executed a well prepared game plan,  but even after that game, only Cleveland fans felt the hype.  Nobody else can take you all seriously.  It would take a lot more than one well-played game for that to happen.  Then last night, the Browns got back to being the Browns.  I laughed and laughed and laughed some more.  Don't you all find it funny how, even if you pick up talented players, Cleveland doesn't know how to win.  Good teams take average players and make them good...the Browns always find a way to take good players and make them bad.  Only you guys bought into the hype that you were gonna be the team to beat, everyone else said, "It's Cleveland, no threat there".  Shit, even on the Cincinnati boards, the team that hadn't won shit, are still talking smack about you.  That should say something.    Your team is nothing but made of a bunch of losers.  I just wanted to give you heads up since you guys can't really tell what is going on.

Please come back the week of our next game with the Rats- when both of our teams have settled in with their new pieces.

Oh, I'll be here.  Again,  your team doesn't scare anybody.  A team built around a losing franchise has to play more than one good game to gain any respect.  You all may go 8 and 8 this year, and that would satisfy you guys.  That shits funny to me.  Only Browns fans could be happy with a split season.

Offensively, they were unprepared from the Head Coach down.  No excuses, Freddie is calling the plays and he had no idea what SF was made of. None.

Yep. I think... the idea was to really go after em on defense, but their offensive line - pretty freakin good - trap blocked the Browns into open holes? Do I have that right? I believe the defensive coaches won't make THAT mistake again. And I haven't found fault with Freddie's playcalling - until last night. You have Bosa and co - what happened to quick slants? I think they miss Njoku on slants, where did those plays go? The Browns oline couldn't hold up long enough for wr's to run any fancy route. I believe Bitonio got bowled over trying desperately to reach out left and help helpless Robinson. Seriously? The Browns defense can match up with ...almost, any team in the NFL. They really missed Ward and Greedy tonight. And Whitehead trying to cover their TE? Didn't he hit the big TE above the hips? I mean, right at his point of power? I'll bet that hurt.

The upside - the Browns will learn a TON from that loss. No huge deal.

I think Jeff Foxworthy wants us to know - "You might be a red neck if you came up with idea that a crappy TE like Pharaoh Brown should block Nick Bosa in pass pro."  Even worse, what knucklehead improved such an idea?  If you want to lose the buy-in from players - that'll do it.  What is that guy still doing on this roster?  I thought they were going to do a screen pass with the inevitable but no such luck.

Pharaoh Brown. Needs to work on not being a regular one or two really bad timing mistakes/penalties a game. He seems not to have the agility to block a bosa, etc. Has a lot to learn and isn't really good at it, maybe.

and note to the grade school ratskunk fan who showed up - we beat your team. at your stinking place.

You aren't very smart. Probably having trouble with 6th grade art class.    lol

I'm sure you're probably looking for some angry person to yell at you, call you a troll, etc. Heck, I'm confident someone will.

But here's the truth and reality of your world. It's nothing short of pathetic to have to find validation in trolling a team's fan board. People who need to do it, yourself included, are nothing but worthless to society losers who need validation in the form of internet anonymity.  The simple truth is that you have little real world value to bring and sadly have to find your worth in such actions as coming here. So much of who you are as a person is around a team you have zero control over.

But hey, keep living the dream my man. Cool post.

Niner fan here....

....thats a lot of smack for a team running a retread offense circa SF 2012 and have been exposed pretty badly. NEWSFLASH: Greg Roman is a fraud. You'll get excited until his symplistic offense gets figured out and then you will go nowhere.

There is a reason SF tried to make Kap a pocket passer. That offense doesn't work long term and will get Lamar killed. How? Eventually, teams will stop caring about giving up runs on Zone Reads by the RB and will instead blow up the QB on every single down.

Take it from someone who watched the exact same cycle with another Harbaugh and the exact same OC, Baltimore has been exposed and they don't have near the defensive talent that SF did.

Thanks for the compliments,  bro.  I just like to tell it like it is.  I don't mean to kick you all while you're down, but all the build up surrounding the Browns this year drove everyone nuts except your fanbase.  Everyone else was just shaking our heads.  You played one good game (unfortunately it was against my team), but you still have no other team shaking.  Only Browns fans think the Browns can be any good, that's where the reality check comes in.  I hate to be the one that has to give you guys the bad news, but someone's got to do it.

not very smart, though. How can you diss our Browns as losers when the Browns hammered your ratskunks?

Do you not get the irony and ignorance in your trolling? Or did you stop being a ratskunk fan and start being a fan of the niners?

I came here before OUR game..but today, I came not only to troll, but to help with a reality check

Here's  your  reality check. Come back  and talk  after you beat  a team  with a winning  record. The teams you've beaten are a something like a collective 2-11-1. And those two  wins came  against the Bengals, who look like they're going to  give the Dolphins a run for the #1 overall pick in 2020. And whoopee, that record will be 2-16-1 assuming you can somehow beat the  hapless  Bengals. It gets a  tad more  difficult  after that.

This is far, far from official, but I think it's important for the "offensive line sucks; crowd. I'm watching the replays now, here's what I see:

1) Baker INT at 13:12, Q1-Roughly 4 seconds to pressure (with a TE blocking, no less). 4 man pressure.

2) Baker SACK at 11:12, Q1- About 3 seconds to pressure on a blitz look. RB was blown up and collapsed pocket.

3) Baker LOST FUMBLE at 3:34, Q1- Easily 5+ seconds of protection, 4 man pressure. Slight collapse of outside pocket from Bosa, but not 'unclean pocket'. Easily could have stepped up instead of out, causing the fumble.

4) Baker INT at 4:55, Q2- Mostly on Callaway, 90% on the WR there. Obviously you want a cleaner ball, but that should be a TD-no excuses.

5) Backer SACK at 1:40, Q2-Less than 3 second to pressure, small blitz look but Bosa blew play up, no doubt.

6) Baker SACK at 0:05 seconds-Maybe 3.5 seconds to pressure, but an easy "navigate" to safety by #6. Baker again moving backward instead of moving up in the pocket. Bosa is double teamed, but comes back for sack.

7) Baker SACK/Fumble at 12:05, Q4-Between 3.5 and 4 seconds to pressure, but Bosa definitely beat Robinson.

The two I highlighted is where I'm firmly in the offensive line group, italics is more on the QB. My verdict? The line played fine given their Dline is literally at 1st round talent players. They can improve drastically, but of the negative plays Baker, scheme or Callaway was directly responsible compared to the line. It really affirms to me that scheme/Mayfield are more the culprit than our line group.

I don't know why you guys are getting all heated up and bent out of shape.  I'm just telling you guys how your team's viewed by the rest of the league.  As long as most people alive can remember, the Browns have been non-contenders..the current ones and the ones that moved here.  Well, the ones that moved here UNTIL they moved here.  Because as we all know, once they moved to Baltimore, it didn't take long for them to become a real team.  Then once you guys got your beloved Browns back, the team started where they left off, and had the rest of the league laughing at them again.  Since then, what'd you guys have, 2 winning seasons?  TWO, in 20 years.  And I'm not saying the Ravens don't have their own problems this year...we recognize that we do.  But they are correctable problems.  Cleveland's problems are that they are just a loser franchise, and that's much harder to correct.  One thing is for sure when it comes to the two teams:  Baltimore's franchise, the entire organization all the way down to the players, are well respected around the league...the Cleveland Browns are not.  Your team is viewed as one big disaster after another.  Sorry you fans can't handle that, but it's the truth.  And it will take a ton more than one good game to change anybody's opinion of that.  I mean, look what they did the very next week, right after a game you guys were riding high on for about 5 minutes...they fuckin lay an egg.  I mean, not just got beat, but got their asses handed to them.  Mayfield actually lost points in fantasy...I don't know if that's ever happened before.  But that is the epitome of the Cleveland Browns.  That's what you guys are.

Let's see- our team has been absolutely atrocious since 2008, goes 1-31 in a two year span, then goes 7-8-1.

That's the story, and it's a good NFL story. For the first time in a long long time, there is hope here. The national media spotlighted it, it didn't originate from Cleveland.

Quit stirring the pot.

This past week as well as on the season Baker had/has the the second highest average time to throw (snap to pass). The problem is not the offensive line. According to next gen stats. Just giving you more info to back up what your rewatching told you.

Do it, get some sleep. I'm just so pissed that I looked forward to this crap so much and we didn't even get 5 minutes of cheering in. And those wins we think we're getting in the 2nd half of the season? Yeah right. Baker is in serious trouble and if he has multiple games like this it's going to get ugly.

I did not hung over for once

Damn on both side of the line of scrimmage we were getting pushed around  Baker only had time for one read which of course he stared down But calloway should have caught that ball not sure if scoring that td could have changed momentum but at least i could have raised my beer

Meh.

Second youngest team in the NFL making mistakes and turning the ball over to many times.... (I still can’t believe that Calloway turn of events...)

Get on the plane and start in the film room tomorrow.

To many games left to start whining already.

calloway is troubling....last yr he made some nice catches, but he also dropped passes that had td written all over it.......should have caught that one from mayfield even though it was not a good pass at all, but still catchable....could have turned the game around...maybe.......mayfield looks like shit so far...of course the ol is even worse....if i am seattle, i run the ball against a creampuff dl and lb's....on offense, i force mayfield out of the pocket and make him scramble to his right side....he will either get sacked, throw an int, or throw it away....if seattle can do that, they will clobber the clowns...

Not bitter. Your extremely bitter about the loss to the Browns which is why your back here still lol

I believe it was Ag (possibly Gunz) who said it best- and the analogy is perfect. It's exactly the same as an Auburn fan (after they lost to them) laughing at Alabama because they lost to Clemson.

It's a new week, the Browns can burn the tape of that debacle. 5 down 11 to go, the season isn't over because of a bad loss.

FWIW, this Moderator is losing patience with our new found troll. Nothing will get you shown the door faster than pulling the old- we're great, you suck gambit. I might keep him around for kicks and giggles after his Ratbirds get blown out by the Patriots.

If, and a big IF Calloway makes that catch and rolls into the end zone instead of giving up an interception, it's 14-10 at halftime not 21-3.  Not saying we could have won, but it changed the entire complexion of the game. Football 101 says when the other team has you down by three scores they're going to ignore your running game, send the house- and make life hell for your quarterback.

And as they pointed out on Red Zone tonight- the 49ers front four are so good, they can just rush 4, and keep 7 back to defend passes.
