What got me was his lack of curiosity about the root cause of our missing discipline... his "keep doing what we've been doing" approach. Dutch Oven Posted September 11, 2019 Report Share Posted September 11, 2019 You know how in baseball a 10 game stretch in June where a hitter only ekes out a handful of hits, and it is looked upon as "just something that happens to even the best hitters" a few times a season? But when a good hitter is hitting .130 after the first 10 games of the season, people panic? Hopefully this is all this is concerning Freddie. One horrible game that - instead of happening randomly in the middle of his career - occurred right at the very beginning, making it seem worse than it really is in the big picture.
