You really have to pay attention to keep up. When I walk away for 5 mins, I have to rewind or I feel a little lost. Is this loosely based on a true story? Seems like it. medicineman Posted August 23, 2019 Report Share Posted August 23, 2019 I started watching it like a week ago, Never heard of it but so far it is good, I am in like the 5th episode, I will say if it is based on a true story I can only imagine how bad Hollywood ef'd it up. The Cysko Kid Posted September 17, 2019 Report Share Posted September 17, 2019 I've seen it but having read both "mindhunter" by John Douglas and "Whoever fights Monsters" by Robert Ressler (Douglas and Ressler are who these characters are based on) I'm confident in declaring it pure Hollywood fiction.
