Vambo
AOC calls the Electoral College a 'scam,' says it has a 'racial injustice breakdown' "The Electoral College has a racial injustice breakdown," Ocasio-Cortez said. "Due to severe racial disparities in certain states, the Electoral College effectively weighs white voters over voters of color, as opposed to a 'one person, one vote' system where all our votes are counted equally." calfoxwc
surely she isn't smart enough to have been a good bartender. Poor customers probably ended up sick and got her fired. She's a stupid, nasty, belligerent opportunistic hatemonger. If you didn't have the electoral college, it would negate the votes of every state that doesn't have a big population. Every time the left sees what could be an advantage to them, they go all hell and high water for it. Their trouble is, when the advantage changes, so does their phony stance on any issue. 1

Gorka
The founders rejected the election of a president by popular vote. Liberals are not taught that America is comprised of 50 smaller "countries" (states) that are united, each with their own governments, leaders, and laws. The genius of the electoral college is that it assures each state has a say so in the election of the president. The EC guarantees that the president would be selected by a wide diversity of people from coast to coast, and not just a bunch of dimwit liberals from Calif and NY. 1

OldBrownsFan
The only thing short sighted democrats like her think about is that lately the electoral college hasn't helped them win elections so they want to get rid of it. And this gal's argument against everything is always the same old "racist" broken record. The electoral college is racial injustice. Actually kudos to the one democrat governor in Nevada who vetoed the national popular voted bill recently. He took some time to think about the long term effects: "After thoughtful deliberation, I have decided to veto Assembly Bill 186," Sisolak said in a statement. “Once effective, the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact could diminish the role of smaller states like Nevada in national electoral contests and force Nevada’s electors to side with whoever wins the nationwide popular vote, rather than the candidate Nevadans choose.” https://thehill.com/homenews/state-watch/446174-nevada-democratic-governor-vetoes-national-popular-vote-bill
