Yesterday’s Washington Examiner says President Trump’s approval rate is up to 51%, with a 47% disapproval rate. From the article. President Trump’s approval rating has edged up, driven by long-term confidence in his economy and boosted by the lackluster performances of the two dozen Democrats trying to beat him in the 2020 election, according to the latest Zogby Analytics poll. The article expands on its explanation, quoting Jonathan Zogby “It’s true Trump is riding high on positive economic news,” he said. But, he added, “It’s also very plausible he is benefiting from poor performances by the Democratic presidential candidates who have continued to move very far to the left with their policies. The Democrats have floated nationalizing healthcare, strict gun control, ‘The Green New Deal,’ and raising taxes, all which are very unpopular in polling on a national level and in key battleground states.” And here is what has the Democrats screaming “Racist!” every other second. I wouldn't predict that either but I will predict Trump will do better than other republican presidents have done in the past with both the Black and Hispanic voters.
