To make the Elite 8? Set your own odds there with plenty of zeros.

Where are they on that list

VI does not list all 130 FBS football schools like Charlotte, Coastal Carolina, Georgia State, Akron and othes....no need they don't play a schedule that even if they went undefeated would make a top 10, 20 or 25. A waste of the handicappers time.

If Akron went undefeated they would probably make the top 25. Any in Mac school would probably do that.

Maybe even undefeated D-1AA North Dakota cracked some top 25 lists -but- no way a top 10 or 15 lists.

Some top MAC schools get decent bowl bids, sure helps the school and conference bank accounts......the essential part of successful football now.

Bill C’s MAC power rankings.....from SB, nice 2019 race

Here’s a link to every team’s data, and each team’s name below is linked to its preview.  https://www.sbnation.com/college-football/2019/2/20/18226406/mac-football-2019-power-rankings

Tier 1

1. WMU
2. Toledo
3. Ohio
4. NIU
5. EMU

Tier 2

6. Buffalo
7. Miami (Ohio)

Tier 3

8. Ball State
9. Kent State
10. CMU

The goal for Tier 3 is bowl eligibility, plain and simple. One of the three will probably make it, two if either Miami or Buffalo bombs at QB.

Tier 4

11. Akron
12. Bowling Green
