Kitchens is a legit real LEADER as coach, as Baker is at qb.  "Right, Tony?" LOL

Ogunjobi and Richardson talk about the fight:

I really believe Kitchens is the kind of coach who will throw no one under the bus. Won’t even admit if he has talked to a player about something, and if he did it will stay between them. Builds trust, and that’s important. Probably one of the most damning things Hue ever did is the blame game.

Before Freddie..."I'll have to look at the film"

Freddie.."If they don't do it right, they're told about it right then" & "Hell, I know what I'm seein'. I know when it's right & when it's wrong."

We finally have a REAL HC & he's showing why daily! It's called being "up front & honest"!

He seems like he's doing a good job of coaching the players.  It's important that he correct the player/situation right when it happens.  The correction is absorbed best right then and there.  And it also shows the player(s) that he's paying attention.

I like him enough in the pressers.  I'm always looking for the HC to be honest and yet generic enough so as to keep things in house.  If you don't want your players saying things to the media then you have to demonstrate your intolerance of it in your own communications with the media.

I know that one of our main worries during TC is losing a guy for the year....or an extended period of time.  It's comforting to know that Freddie is in tune with that.  He's doing what he can to protect the player(s) bodies while still having a full TC.

Makes for a more dramatic story for a new HC to just appear out of nowhere and ride off into the playoff sunset on the backs of his talented team.  🤠🤠

I’m noticing Kitchens cooks up some interesting analogies. Here’s one l read in an article yesterday in response to a question about how the team needs to handle it when the going gets tough.

“What are you gonna do at that moment. Are you gonna splinter? Are you gonna be like five fingers? Or are you gonna be like a fist?” Kitchens said, spreading his five fingers out first, then balling them together. “And that’s what we’re trying to figure out. Teams fall apart because they splinter. They go their different ways. And everybody’s looking for how it’s going to affect me, and not how it’s going to affect we.”

It’s kinda fun when you’re your first reaction is “huh?” but then you realize it makes sense.

When a shit-starter wants to see "he who he eats too many prunes sitting on the toilet a many moons" - why would he want our fans to have knowledge Freddie was an Assistant Head Coach?  "Right Tony?"

Because at least far as the Cleveland press is concerned. They are only interested in maintaining the narrative that has been the status quo around here for so many years.. Even Mayfield called Tony out the other day.. it was hilarious to watch a young man like him just defeat Tony , with only a smile... it was hilarious beyond words...

I bet it had the same sledge hammer effect on Tony's God Complex as watching Mayfield's record setting 27 TD passes as an NFL rookie in spite of only 13 starts.
