Clevfan4life
These are short term high deductible "junk plans". Yes they're cheap, but if something happens...the out of pocket is enormous. And they don't cover prescriptions...which for me and a lot of other people isn't an issue cause many are waking up the prescription drug industry. But still, I've seen the deductibles on those plans. Yeah you pay like $80 or $90 a month but they're only worthwhile if you get utterly pulverized in a car accident and accrue 10's or 100's of thousands in bills. I saw ACA plans offered through the Cleveland clinic that for under $200/month gave very good coverage unless you're just a completely unhealthy drinker and smoker. When my son was under a group plan at work he developed a kidney problem that was covered. But when he left that job he applied to the same company for an individual policy while going back to school. They would not approve it because it was ruled he had a preexisting condition despite the fact it developed when they were covering him under their group policy. So we had to pay 3 times the premium to help him stay covered under a Texas High Risk state plan. You get the picture? The one thing Obamacare did was stop this denial of insurance due to preexisting condition. Bet trump's BS companies won't do that.
calfoxwc
You will lose that bet. We'll see. What is tragic, is that the dems installed obaMaodoesn'tcare, excluded the reps out of the process entirely, just so they could ride that brag to more votes. it was a disastrous policy. It isn't an easy problem to resolve - we need another legit Real American political party along with the Republicans to work on a Real America solution. It's complicated, but the socialist/commie radical haters are hurting our country at every turn. and liberals never admit they are wrong, they don't care - they just do more of what is wrong to try to fix it. Peoples' lives are at stake with health insurance, and the gov is not a legit hc provider.

They will not tell these people that these junk plans are utter catastrophe plans that cover shit unless u fall out of a plane and are unfortunate enough to land in a croc infested swamp. Than they might kick in

Make no mistake Obama and the democrats knew they put in place a bad unsustainable ACA but their reasoning for doing it was they knew once put in place it would be very difficult to remove the ACA and believed it would eventually lead to universal healthcare.
