So that is the problem? Other platforms don’t have the same reach so Facebook should be regulated? Conservatives could migrate to other platforms but they are too whiny/lazy to buck up and do it.

Emotional pleas don’t fly. The number of limbs he has or how he lost them has zero to do with his ability to seek out a different platform. It looks as if Facebook is fucking over consumers who can now move to a platform that accommodates their views. Facebook’s loss. The free market solves the problem.

Well we agree that FB is discriminating against conservative voices. So what is the remedy? There is nothing to compare with FB particularly for advertisement. You talked about going to MeWe that is great for you selling a couple of guns but if you were selling product nationwide or even worldwide I don't think MeWe is going to do it for you. i would rather fight FB and force them not to discriminate:

"I think there is fundamental problem with this common misnomer of 'private company'. Facebook is not a government agency (ostensibly at least) but any company that goes public by listing itself on public exchanges, overseen by public governmental agencies, and soliciting funds from any and all persons can no longer be said to be a private company. This should be self-evident yet there is a huge disconnect between the broad public access and benefits that 'going public' gives a corporation compared to its responsibilities as a corporate citizen. This needs to change. Public corporations need to be subject to the Constitution the same as public governmental institutions are. Corporations are now even regarded as persons under the law when it comes to rights but not when it comes to the responsibilities of citizenship. Publicly listed and traded corporations are getting a free ride, in too many cases while they rape the public, with malice, at the same time."

So.... no discrimination against gays.

Going public =\= being public in the terms that person is thinking. If so, any company selling common stock could have every single thing they choose to do with their privately owned firm (shareholders are still not the government) manipulated by the will of people with no financial horse in the race.

If I own a men’s clothing store, should I be forced to carry kids clothes because my store is discriminating against kids by not making my services available for selling kids clothing?

If a problem arises in the free market, create an alternative that wants your business. Why would conservatives even want to use Facebook knowing they don’t want them as users?

Side note: OBF I know we don’t agree on much but you are a reasonable guy to debate with. So no malice even if I ball bust a little with the comrade talk.

Not a problem but I don't consider that triple amputee veteran fighting Facebook  any kind of a commie..

It was shenanigans that the bakery was forced to do that in my opinion. The couple should have taken their money to another baker. I wouldn’t want to eat anything that was prepared by people who don’t want me consuming their food.

He is at least a socialist if he wants a private company to accommodate his views when he could move to other platforms or push for the creation of a Conservative social media platform. Facebook won’t change unless they feel the pinch from losing ad dollars geared towards conservative users.

I guess, for some, dozens of weekly threads screaming about "Obamao" counts as "lived through".
