In a short time the democrats who used to at least state publicly they were against illegal immigration and wanted to secure the border are now giving drivers licenses to illegal immigrants as well as wanting to give health care to illegal immigrants. In some democrat cities they have given illegal immigrants voting rights in local elections. Also the dems don't like using the word illegal immigrant now (even though it is factually correct) and now just prefer to call them immigrants. If you put illegal in front of the immigrant you are one of the "haters". What has changed with the dems? The millions upon millions of illegal immigrants now in the country and their votes. The dems were only publicly against illegal immigration when it was beneficial to them. They have made the calculation now that supporting illegal immigration is the way to go to win elections going forward. Always, always it is about power with the dems..obtaining it and keeping it. What a mess the dems have made of California and the big cities under dems control across the country yet that is their vision for all of this country. I keep reading about Texas becoming more blue. If a solid red state like Texas ever turns blue it is going to be next to impossible for any republican to win a presidential election. We have had two republican presidents in this century alone win because of the electoral college and now the dems are working feverishly to get rid of the electoral college.
