Getting into THAT much debt for theater is mostly your own damn fault. I think we discussed loan payback based on the major you pursue (based on demand, etc) I'm currently deciding how much to drop on an MBA. I could bet on Bernie winning and go back to Michigan... I know a good many who never got a degree but took a great deal of classes there aren't any that are anywhere close to the subject they studied. I know a good amount of people who learned a trade that are making excellent money without any degree at all. And I know sponges who allowed the government to pay for their schooling for years and pay their bills while they did it that were obviously never going to work in that field or just about any. And I actually know one guy, a musician who worked in machine shop, who got some money to go to school when he got laid off for good. Went to Barber College and it's actually making a living.
