As I have said before...I believe that there are a number of cities that will never be selected to host the Super Bowl...because of the weather. Places like NE/Buff/Pitt/Philly/DC/Cleveland/Chicago/Green Bay/KC/Cinci etc. Places where the weather is bad in Jan/Feb. But these fucktards keep picking places for the draft that could also host SBs....like Dallas, Vegas, Tenn. Tell you what NFL....if you don't want to bring the draft to Cleveland....give us a fucking Super Bowl...and let them play it on the shores of Lake Erie in February. Our problem is that we have a weak owner when it comes to asserting this town's interest against those of the other 31 owner's. They keep letting Jerry Kiss Ass Jones make the decisions. Well.....maybe if this team starts making some noise in the playoffs it will help Jimmy Haslam grow a set of balls so that his team/town will be treated with parity. (or...do you think that because the HOF presentation is held every year in NEO that that means we already get a major NFL function in this part of the country? The "other owner" is supposedly Dan Gilbert- who does have the money to build a new stadium- with a net worth of $7 billion or so. Not clear if he's totally divested of his Casino businesses, which would disqualify him from being an NFL owner. He does have a billion lying around after he sold his Greek Town Casino in Detroit. Haslam has plenty of available cash too, after he sold (part of) Pilot\Flying J to Warren Buffet- the price was undisclosed. If it happens, it happens- I'm not holding my breath on this one. He would have to get rid of all of those. Haslam already used some of the money he got from Buffet to buy the Columbus Crew MLS team. And Denise York...already an NFL owner (49ers). The others are Leslie Wexner.... mid 80s I believe.
