Given those that were indicted on various charges...  hardly a "nothing burger".

That having been said, I'm rather relieved.    Now maybe we can watch the Dems and Reps possibly get back to the adult version of politics.           Unlikely ... =(

You’re missing the point.

They went after Trump and spent 2 years trying to nail his ass...and they came away with Jack Shit.

Try to keep up.

I wouldn't say bringing indictments against numerous high ranking officials for corruption is a nothingburger.

Granted, it looks like Trump is mostly in the clear, based on the limited information we have on the Mueller report. I'm more interested now in seeing what his investigation turned up on how extensive Russian interference was in the 2016 election, if any

But, a word of caution for those hard in the paint Trump supporters here on the board: Trump needn't have committed an indictable crime in order to face a potential impeachment charge. The Constitution specifies that impeachment can be brought for "high crimes and misdemeanors". It's basically up to the House now to determine if anything in the Mueller report fits their threshold for impeachment proceedings. I doubt it personally, but I guess we'll find out in the coming weeks.

I'm sure the next year and few months will be full of nothing being done in the congress except investigating how many times Trump farted in prep school.

More likely than not, unfortunately. We're almost at the beginning of the 2020 election cycle, so there's going to be a lot of peacocking from both parties towards that end.

You’re right, there’s going to be a lot of mud slinging from both sides until the election actually begins.

Again,  looking at the indictments and convictions ( 2 dozen?)  Far from a nothing as J pointed out as well.

No need to be a dick.  You'll notice I'm cordial.

Not so fast my friend. His scope was limited to Russian interference only. He farmed out the other possible money trail criminality encountered to other parts of the justice system. This is not even close to over.

No, It's clearly a nothingburger when the whole point of this investigation was to find evidence that Trump colluded with the Russians. These indictments happen to only be wrongdoing discovered during this charade having nothing to do with Russian collusion.

Reps? lol. speak for your own party. They've been the crybabies. Maybe we can watch the dems possibly get back to the adult version of politics....which is highly unlikely. You do know it aint over as these dem a-holes are planning to investigate Trump and his family correct?

oh, stupid bs. it wasn't limited to anything. Look at what he did to Manafort and cohen. Texsag, you got your NOTHINGBURGER handed to you with a note that says "ALL THAT 2 YEARS OF GLOATING, AND ALL YOU GOT WAS AN INVISIBLE HAMBURGER".

got nothin. The dems only "investigated" out of spite, to continue the farce. The ENTIRE investigation was based on a dossier that was bogus from the gitgo, paid for by your higgardly wench socialist party (and obaMao commie's FBI hacks), which was misrepresented on purpose to the FISA court.... oh yeah. The dems will continue bitching for another two years to try to find a reason to investigate.

asswholes.

You seem to have forgotten where "nothingburger " came from and are using the term in a way that works for you.

Those indictments had nothing to do with Russian collusion.

well,

with all due respect to Goldberg who takes the middle ground in an Obvious statement

alot of us felt that Muellers "integrity" was lost about 2 years ago when he being the most likely to seeing the forest from the trees

given the info and power he had - instead CHOSE to continue the farce of the investigation-

SEE DOSSIER / FISA warrants  as peoples exhibit  one

Sessions never had the balls to reign in this witch hunt so.....

Yes, I'm positive all those redacts coming out have nothing to do with any of the other courts now in the middle of their own investigations including the state courts where people are not subject to presidential pardons. You must think Mueller is an absolute fool if you think he wasn't farming out as a means of protecting his work from the threats coming weekly from the WH. He is not a dummy. In fact after I wrote what I did, I have seen several experts who have past work in those kinds of courts/district att. offices who say exactly what I said above and now. This is just getting started. It's nowhere near over when it comes to the financial dealings of the Trump empire. You need to watch & read things other than Fox Trump News and other self-deluding news sources.

I doubt either. Most lefties have already come to terms with this being a nothingburger.

It would be the latter who would be the real idiots though.  At least 12 of the 17  members of Muellers investigative staff were  democrats, some Hillary donors, the remaining 5 unknown. Gee I wonder why he hired so many democrats.

The former scenario, perhaps some would. My opinion stays the same. He's a deep stater and  looks like a beaten man. The collusion thing was too bogus, too impossible for him to cover up or to fabricate.
