Does he know he has the both?

Maybe not. I looked on the Draft thread and he said "I'll be a team". Darren told him that it was 2 teams per player and he did not answer back. I'll PM him.

Please send him a PM and tell him that...

Delay won't be too bad and Zombo said he wouldn't be able to pick until later this evening as well...

The Colts select Marquise Brown, WR, Oklahoma

TY is getting up there in age, and while they signed Devin Funchess, he doesn't bring the game-breaking potential that Brown does. We hope for him to become the Colt's version of Tyreek Hill.

We feel the value in adding an explosive presence to Luck's offense is more valuable at this point than our options at DB and DL.

OK GM Darren sends his assistant  Mayock out to get wings and while he has gone the Raiders follow up the capture of 2 defensive studs with a TE as the Raiders have little depth at the position

Lee Smith, Derek Carrier, Darren Waller and Paul Butler are the 4 currently on depth chart .... huge instant upgrade

With the 27th pick in the 2019  NFL Draft the Oakland Raiders select

NOAH FANT  TE  IOWA

lol... On to Houston...

Houston gained more than they lost in FA... at least they came close to replacing losses except in one position... NT... where the very underrated Christian Covington left to head up I-45 to play Cowboy... so...

With the 23rd pick in the 2019 BBMD, the Houston Texans select:

Dexter Lawrence (DT/NT Clemson)

darren is up... followed by Woody back to darren then to the Z-man...

PM will fly in a minute...

I'm curious and I have no 2nd round picks... Hadn't I taken Oliver or Wilkins, would that be your pick?

Of the two Wilkins given HOU's 3-4 leanings... but TBH I was very happy that Dexter Lawrence was available. He's the closest to a prototypical NT that I see in this draft.

And no chit chat in the active draft thread... ;)

We'll give it a while longer...

"It" being stillmotion...

And "a while" being until 20:30 EDT...

That's 8:30 PM for the mathematically challenged...

Times up...

still got the Pack some much needed TE help earlier, but it's the middle of their D that badly needs attention. MLB's worthy of a R1 pick are gone, but there is a FS that should more than fill Ha Ha's shoes...

So with the 30th pick of the 2019 BBMD the GBP's select:

Deionte Thompson (FS - BAMA)

Unsym is on the clock times two...

Rams lost Saffold to the Titans a couple weeks ago, and their center should have retired a couple seasons ago.  They take the best OL remaining on the board who just happens to be athletic enough to be a day-1 starter at any OL spot.  Their QB needs an elite line, but without Saffold, they still need work just to get back to average.

OT Jonah Williams, Alabama

Hey Sorry Fellas, at the rate we were going back i didn't think we'd make it this far before I got home tonight.

I forgot the packers had a second late round pick in the draft too.

With the 30th Pick, the Packers take  Jeffery Simmons DE/DT, Mississippi State

Commish had made the pick for you but as you made your selection before the next GM I am sure he will let you have the pick....... if he lets you have the pick it will mean Deionte Thomson safety is available again ....up to the commish :)

Yeah it was my bad dude. I completely forgot the packers had the late second pick in the first round and was thinking I would be up next in round 2. Got home from work and saw I was tagged. Hopefully you fellas have it in your hearts to forgive me.

Observations:

  • Eleven (11) DL taken in Round 1... 6 DTs and 5 DEs.
  • Twenty (20) in total taken in the D-side.
  • Three (3) QBs from this "weak class" were taken in the top ten...
  • Only four times was the same position tapped on consecutive picks and in only one of those instances did "the run" reach three in a row.
  • Thanks 1

Id add that no RB was taken, when last year one of them was #2 overall...
