He wasn't anywhere on my radar when chosen, but obviously the pro pickers ion the FO liked him for reasons that should comne to the forefront this year. Therefore this pick as the #1 most interesting player to watch is a very good pick IMO. As a guy who believes that defense gets you in playoffs and wins them, I could not have picked a better one to be curious about anywhere else on the team. That said I would pick his fellow rookie Mack Wilson as #2. Am not sure my Stretch Armstrong has recovered from our only reach in that draft..Sione Takitaki could be the reach of Austin Corbett/Chad Thomas? Or could be the stretch of Denzel Ward over Bradley Chubb? stay tuned..

That final play still hurts to watch...13:02 needs no commentary..1)tad earlier, Robinson can't miss that block..2) give it up to CJ Mosley for making a heck of a play..That some say he can't cover..Joel B. has Mosley's hands tied down..Then the cat strikes his hand loose in the only window Baker could take..I'd almost bet,Baker see's Joel but never saw who he was blocking?..Baker, clean in open space looks easy..He will need to make his money, finding passing windows with OL clutter..Commentary Romo?.. absolute defined Contradict,is his speciality no matter who's at QB..He does have his good moments also, imo EDIT--the play off u-tube feed is at my 11sec..Again Robinson blows his assignment, not knowing who to block, so he blocks nobody. It's gotta stop,he's 330 & not conditioned for the 4th quarter.Baker makes the young mistake of "it's 2nd down, live to see another down and throw it away" instead Panic a force.. here's the good but bad stuff, Baker kicked himself all off season..Makes the good into great, on what he does next time..Brady changes L's into W's on death drive like those

Ray Ray Armstrong is my first man off the roster ... and the first man off always makes the roster once the inevitable injuries start (let's pray they are minimal this year). I think they signed the veteran Taylor to be active on Sundays and the new boys too. I think Priefer may have more say on who stays at this position than the LB coach, Al Holcomb, who is also the "run game Coordinator" for the D. Orion
Duke hasn't practiced in a long time. His trade value is no doubt skyrocketing. I think Corbett is listed as starter just because they're not ready to name the actual starter yet. I'm anxious to see what our b/u QB is going to look like. If Hilliard looks like a viable replacement for Duke. Who's gonna get those final two WR spots. What's Pharaoh Brown like? - And we've got some young LB'ers and DB's. I'm anxious to see if they can play tackle football.
gumby73
1) want to see all 6 of those back-up DT's.. 2) I got Willies in as 5th WR(we need a size WR in redzone), the 6th is Ratley vs Hyman vs.Strong..if Guiseppi can't handle kicking duties? he'd be lucky to see PS..3)DE-got Chris Smith in, leaving Zettle & a upgrade over Chad Thomas..4) Taki & Wilson 40's are faster than Scho & Kirk..am watching the angles they take to get home..5) Both Tackles scare the hell out of me (Lamm only back-up) more than RG..If Trent Williams goes for a 2nd & a 5th?(Dwayne Brown from Texans to Seattle) Pay the Man!! 6) I like the backend personal of this defense. Speed & Length. I've read* good about T.Mitchell..but, I've seen* bad T.Mitchell in coverage on video highlights too..Will the real Greedy Williams please show UP? 7) vanilla O, leads to Punt/ Kick & ST fest..those will matter in 4 preseason games

Zombo
Updated 8/7 Starter Battles: RG Kush, may have the lead now, but I'm sticking with Corbett K Joseph is ahead of Siebert with the Browns, but I'm holding out jhope the strong-legged Siebert "gets it" in the next couple of weeks. Roster battles: TE Pharoah Brown and LB Ray Ray Armstrong are the two guys not in bold who I think will ascend to the roster when final cuts are made, just not sure who goes yet . I don't see a need to keep 3 QBS, so I think Gilbert and Stanton are fighting for a roster spot, Stanton will have to prove he's not ready to coach yet. Jaelen Strong has a good shot at roster spot, Ratley needs to get healthy We made need to go outisde the roster for OL depth, Forbes is yet to impress and Lamm is really the only backup tackle option Backup Defensive tackle is a fluid situation, any of those guys can win jobs ... or lose them.
