THE BROWNS BOARD

Of course illegal immigration is a national crisis - more blood on liberals/dems hands

We should probably remember it is not only the democrats who have never really wanted to secure the border but a good number of chamber of commerce republicans who want the cheap labor. No wonder after decades of talk about securing the border nothing was done. Good for Trump to be one who really wants to fix the problem but he could use some help.

true - Bush W. did nothing to stop it - I thought he would.

No wonder the deep state hates Pres Trump, and all of us.

He is actually trying to solve problems and the deep state wants those

dependent on dems/socialists/entrenched giant gov hacks' votes.

It's all because Trump believes the story of Islamic prayer rugs found at the border. The poor demented fool has blended reality and fiction. The prayer rugs were found at the border only in the movie Sicario: Day of the Soldado.  👴🛐

I'm not a president who claimed prayer rugs were found at the border wall, so someone 🤴 certainly was foolish to make the claim. It wasn't me.

You missed the point again.

You said: It's all because Trump believes the story of Islamic prayer rugs found at the border.

Again, the crisis is not all because of the prayer rug story. You're a walking meme.

You weren't aware that Trump just received a scathing letter from ICE were you? Hasn't been reported by CNN maybe thats why.

https://townhall.com/tipsheet/bethbaumann/2019/03/12/yikes-ice-union-sent-a-scathing-letter-to-president-trump-heres-their-gripe-n2543032

"You frequently speak publicly of the great public safety work ICE is doing under your leadership. To be direct Mr. President – the rhetoric doesn't match reality and we hope that this letter shows you the complete and total nonsense that is really taking place under the Trump Administration on the southern border," the leader reads.

Specifically, border patrol agents have issues with the "Catch and Release" program.

"As you know, every day thousands of illegal aliens are being released into the United States by your Administration. 'Catch and Release' is not just happening, it's in overdrive. Catch and release must continue as ICE doesn't have sufficient custody space to hold the massive number of family units illegally entering the United States ever day," the letter says. "DHS resources on the border are overwhelmed. Political games in Washington, DC have rendered the United States completely incapable of controlling its southern border."

According to the union, ICE officials are having to detain people, process them, provide them with an immigration hearing date and then release them to a charitable organization that facilitates the illegal's travel throughout the United States.

"CBP, with the support of DHS and ICE leadership, has determined that it will not release the thousands of immigration violations is is arresting every day on the southern border, even though all understand custody space does not exist and the detainees will be released by someone within DHS, CBP, with the support of DHS and ICE leadership, has tasked ICE Officers with releasing all immigration violations arrested by Border Patrol and CBP Officers," the letter continues.

The letter calls on President Trump to visit the border, meet with veteran ICE officers currently in the field. The union also wants Trump to "immediately authorize investigative reporters access to ICE and CBS facilities, as well as ICE Officers on the southern border."

"You don't like 'fake news' and neither do our officers, so instead let's provide transparency, tell Americans the truth, and stop this nonsense and wasteful and dangerous policies now," the letter concludes.

The letter shows the Council's dwindling support for President Trump. The National ICE Council endorsed Trump during the 2016, a first in the union's history, The Daily Caller reported.

This kinda always gets lost in the shuffle. Major Ag and meat companies (Tyson for example) benefit from the cheap labor then line the pockets of anyone with influence regardless of the letter by their name. That is why the laws really aren’t built to severely punish the employers of illegal labor.

That's why we should have a liberal guest-worker program with solid identification.

And not blanket amnesty and citizenship for the handful that work and the horde that leeches off the system.

Which then means you have to deal with Mexican authorities to identify the guest-workers which then of course lines the pockets of those same authorities. That's how it works south of our border. I think I may have told the story of how I got my Venezuelan drivers license. On the test ride we drove to the nearest bar and bought a beer for myself, the examiner and the Venezuelan Oil Co. man working for my father. The beers were a medio (.25 Bolivars) each so the Oilman used  a 20Bs bill to pay for it. When the change came back the examiner pocketed the 19.25 Bs and we drove back to the office where he then issued my new license. My younger brother tells similar stories on how to get relatively quick turnaround at stopover airports throughout Latin America when he was flying Gulfstream IVs for Netjets. Since he also speaks Spanish and lived in Venezuela 2 years longer than I, he knew exactly what to do when stopping for fuel. Get off the plane and join the card game and smile while losing a lot on purpose when requesting a refueling. Worked every time. That's just how it works down there.

Yeah, so what? I understand the authorities in third world shitholes are less than trustworthy. But your choice is to deal with them or the coyotes. And the cartel. Shouldn't be a huge problem to issue the grape Pickers an ID with a retina scan.

Maybe  we could get some good wall builders out of the deal and underpay 'em so Trump can claim Mexico paid for the wall in a way.😜
