First of all if I were looking for a spokesman for any kind of conservative issue, or any issue for that matter, and I wanted someone able to speak to the other side in a measured and a reasonable tone you would probably be extremely low on my list. The fact is that most illegal immigrants are Hispanics and probably particularly Mexican. One of the biggest minority groups in America is Mexican living here illegally who will naturally sympathize with their Kinsmen. And I frankly don't think Trump could say or do anything that would appeal to those that hate him any more than the previous presidents could have. I would imagine if we all sat down and had a nonpartisan discussion we would all be against illegal immigration. Unfortunately the nature of politics forces us to take a hard stance for or against.
