What a fucking moron. He can't even read without getting something wrong.

“Since the founding of our nation, many of our greatest strides, from gaining our independence to abolition of civil rights, to extending the vote for women, have been led by people of faith and started in prayer,” the president said on Thursday. "

I guess he was wishing that they abolition civil rights

Meme's were a godsend to people not intelligent enough to make their own case.

Here's one for you too..

Memes often make my point quite concisely. You two dipshits aren't worth the time of a lengthy diatribe..

Like the people that thank God when doctors and modern medicine cure them

Let’s see...my mom was diagnosed with terminal cancer in 1986 and given 2 years to live.

She died in 2010, given your logic, just who is she supposed to be thankful to?

So your mom stop going to the doctor after being diagnosed?

Why not thank God? It all comes from God anyway. All of it. Everything. Our lives, our minds (which we use to make the medicine) , the materials used to make the medicine, we simply are using what God  has given to us.

You can be thankful to God and for doctors and modern medicine.

Yeah, you are worthless without your God.

The same reason I wouldn't thank the flying spaghetti monster, or Thor, or Ra

Her loving family for being there with her through it

The medical professionals that helped here

The scientists that continue to research better medicine

The tangible things

Whether one wants to acknowledge it or not there is a Creator who has given us everything. The bodies we live in, the minds we use, the food we eat, the air we breathe, it was all given to us. We could have done nothing without what was given to us.

So well train to think of themselves as worthless without <insert something>. Great foundation for any cult.

The thoughts you think, the actions you take

Yeah, no thanks.

No, she continued to go to the doctor before and after she was diagnosed.

The oncologist at Duke University called it a miracle, but you keep telling yourself it was the result of going to the doctor, if that’s what blows your hair back.
