TexasAg1969
If this is what it means to "Rebuke" Trump, then they need a new collective pair per Senator. They need to be talking 25th amendment and get this guy thoroughly evaluated as to competency to head this nation. His Narcissistic Personality Disorder was on full display with his latest tweets concerning his entire National Intelligence gathering services. How can one man erroneously think they are all wrong and his "gut feeling" is right? And how can cal idolize a man who makes decisions based on emotions rather than facts and analysis from his own appointed "best" heads of departments? If you can't see this president is seriously flawed and a clear and present danger to the survival of this democracy, then you are not paying attention. Do your own damn research about NPD if you don't believe me. Your conclusion will be inevitable. https://thehill.com/homenews/senate/427773-gop-poised-to-rebuke-trump

LogicIsForSquares
I think Trump is a cartoon character and closet Dem but the obsession over how doomsday is coming with Trump is pretty silly. In 4-8 years (8 if the Dems are running with who they are trotting out now), Trump will leave office and life will go on as per usual.
calfoxwc
yep. He is supporting our Constitution and Bill of Rights, and our military, and trying to control our borders, puts originalists on the Supreme Court... he has done good things. ObaMao did far more damage to our country. Pres Trump does have his faults. You don't see Trump going around the world and Americans are scum like obaMao did. The 2A related stuff with him has really soured me on the guy but I also don't think he is the antichrist either. The whole system is set up that the President has far less control over the whole thing than people would be lead to believe. It isn't quite a figurehead spot because they have EO powers but they aren't far off.

Clevfan4life
Im assuming this is in reference to.trump thinking he knows more about the world and its leaders than his intelligence chiefs who have been doing this their whole lives? Yup...thats exactly why he'll probably go down as tbe worst leader in western history. They'll speak of this clown in the same breath as nero or caligula...men that single handedly brought down an empire with the breadth of their narcissist stupidity. Nah more like we have business leaders that have far more of an effect on the economy (i.e. the tech bubble) than we do someone like the President. Also, we have legislators that can ultimately make or break a President. So in the end, the President is a symbol for the country with EO powers and other authorities but they don't have as much pull as some would believe. That is the whole point of the separation of powers. Thus why I gripe but I don't go full on doom about any President.

Well, maybe not socialist Bernie... I mean really, a lot of Trump voters saw him as the lesser of two evils, and the Independents saw going third party like they did voting for Perot a while back was going to get them nowhere... Anyone with two communicating neurons knew Trump was completely full of shit with his campaign promise he was going to build his Wall, and have Mexico pay for it.... Probably true - but that is the decrepit state of what used to be the demoquack party. It's gone. Leftwing radicalism has taken over. I dissed Trump in the prmaries, etc. Called him a con man, circus barker, whatever. Didn't like him or his shows. But as he has become PRESIDENT- he's the real deal since Reagan. Maybe still full of crap etc, but he is doing right by AMERICA. The promise on the wall, to have mexico pay for it - he never said directly pay up. Indirectly, they are paying in the new trade deal. We make out fairly for a change, and that benefit can be said to be "paying for the wall". btw, the money they are spending on the tiajuana sp? crisis? https://www.citylab.com/equity/2018/12/tijuana-migrant-caravan-asylum-border-trump/577396/ back in dec - 550,000 pesos a day. with more caravans coming. And yes, I don't have any idea what a peso is worth. lol

Why is he acting like a dickhead? I have no doubt that some of them could easily have an axe to grind and actively undermine the president and thereby the country. Joe Wilson and Valerie Plame are good examples of that happening. He can also be a dick though. WSS
