56 years ago Friday January 18, 1963 Ghoulardi broadcasted his first show from TV-8 Cleveland, Ohio.

The rest is just TV history.....if you were lucky enough to see it.

Ernie Anderson's Ghoulardi was Cleveland's most legendary and infamous late night TV horror movie hosts. From 1963-1966 he ruled the airwaves. This clip features his notorious joke about playing poker. How he got away with this in 1964 is anybody's guess.

Ernie did not want to be stuck doing the Ghoulardi stuff his whole life......and he made a fortune doing voice work which ironically he never really knew how much he just liked doing it.

Too bad most of his work did not survive. What a short amazing time when I was 12-16.
