For the lazy, some federal officials "let it slip", right, that Cohen told Mueller that Trump instructed him to lie to congress. Im basically "meh" right now until there's some kind of concrete collaboration. But this could be why Mueller is still going. So basically whether Trump colluded with Russia or not, will become irrelevant IF, and I stress IF, this report has any validity. He'll be done. If he did this and it ends up that he didn't knowingly engage in any collusion with Russia....this will be the most fantastic boner ever in American politics. It's congress, not some guinea fuck manhattan judge u've become used to paying off. Can't lie, or instruct your underling to lie, to congress. The democrat House would likely impeach Trump over anything imaginable but the senate is a different story. Lying to congress seems to be something that some like Eric Holder and John Brennan can do without consequences so there has always been selective prosecution over lying to congress. The special counsel’s office learned about Trump’s directive for Cohen to lie to Congress through interviews with multiple witnesses from the Trump Organization and internal company emails, text messages, and a cache of other documents. Then he caved once he realized they already had what they needed and were using it to bait him. So it's not like it's just Cohen making shit up. They had other witnesses, emails, texts, etc. proving that he was told to lie by Trump. Cohen's role is minimal in this other than being the one instructed.
