Get a clue Cleve...the Mueller investigation is the reason the NY District has the case for Porny Daniels. Cohen sung like a canary to Muellers prosecutors ( I guess Cohen really wasn't going to take a bullet for Trump after all) and all about the Porny Daniels payments and Mueller kindly referred the case to the NY District.

It is all about the Mueller investigation to open the door to any avenue possible to find impeachment grounds against Trump. No doubt Mueller has been waiting for congress to flip to dem control before releasing his report to them.

Think about what you are saying and then just admit OBF has called this thing from the start. The special counsel was NOT set up to investigate imagined Trump and Russia collusion. It WAS set up as a tool to investigate Trump for everything they can find and then use it to impeach him...the special counsel was a ruse...the special counsel had no real interest in Manafort's charges from a dozen years ago, they were interested in what Manafort could tell them about Trump. Even the federal judge on the case called out the Mueller prosecutors for that...

Same way with Flynn who had to sell his house to cover his legal fees from the Mueller investigation when Mueller decided to charge him with lying even though Strzok and Comey believed he never intentionally meant to lie. To keep from going bankrupt plus Mueller prosecutors threatening to go after Flynn's son he finally quit fighting and just pled to the charge to make it go away. The only reason Mueller prosecuted Flynn was to put the squeeze on him, so an American general who has given his life in service to our country gets treated this way all in an effort to get anything on Trump.

BTW - when are all these other liars to the FBI and congress going to get charged?

 I am against using the powers of the government to go after a president because they simply don't like the election results and are attempting to undo a presidential election. Somehow I don't believe if Hillary Clinton was elected and she had a special counsel looking into all her activities with the Clinton Foundation she would have clean hands either but this is called selective prosecution. Radio host and political commentator Dan Bongino said Democrats are “doubling down on police state tactics” to take down President Donald Trump.

Legal, but the reasoning [is] questionable at best,” Bongino continued. “They tapped into the NSA database. We know that. We’ve had a FISA court disclosure saying that. We’ve had them misuse the FISA process to spy on Americans who still have not been prosecuted for any crime. Carter Page. Explain to me again how this isn’t police state tactics.”

The comparison between Trump's alleged campaign violation of $280,000 should be made with Obama's 08 campaign violations of $2 million dollars...a whole lot more. So what happened with the 2 million dollars in campaign violations in 08 from team Obama? A fine was paid. Same thing should happen to Trump if he is found guilty of a campaign violation.

Around that time, he had at least three phone calls with Emin Agalarov, the Russian pop star who helped arrange the meeting. Trump Jr. also was briefly introduced to Russian banker Alexander Torshin at a dinner during the National Rifle Association convention. Federal prosecutors said in 2018 that Torshin was the handler of alleged Russian spy Maria Butina.

5. White House senior adviser Jared Kushner also attended the Trump Tower meeting. During the transition, he met Kislyak and Russian state banker Sergey Gorkov.

6. Trump campaign adviser George Papadopoulos met a few times with Kremlin-connected professor Joseph Mifsud and a Russian woman who falsely claimed to be Vladimir Putin's niece. He was also in touch with Ivan Timofeev, a Russian foreign policy analyst.

12. Trump associate Erik Prince met with Russian state banker Kirill Dmitriev during a controversial January 2017 trip to the Seychelles. Prince told Congress that they discussed business.

14. Former Trump attorney Michael Cohen was in touch with at least two Russian companies during the campaign that wanted to build a Trump Tower in Moscow. He had a 20-minute phone call with someone from the office of Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov about the project, according to court filings. And he spoke to a Russian man who claimed to have influential connections and offered "political synergy" with the Trump campaign, according to court filings.

15. White House senior adviser Ivanka Trump was in contact with the wife of the Russian who offered "synergy" to Cohen. Her spokesman confirmed that she received an email and passed it along to Cohen.

16. Trump business associate Felix Sater, who previously worked with Trump on real estate deals, was in touch with Russians as he worked with Cohen on the Trump Tower Moscow project.
