My point was that Macron wanted this fight to help him politically as he is in the dumpster in the polls. Macron got what he wanted. I think Trump attacks back too many times impulsively and that is not always good. The other point I was making is that I am glad to see Trump pressuring our NATO allies to pay their share. I am talking about Israel and anywhere else. We will stick to our policy of helping in the case of attack but we don't need to fit the bill for everything.
