Paul Ryan was supposed to be a big budget hawk and he gave us some of the biggest spending bills in history. The problem is you need 60 votes to pass a spending bill in the senate and so to get anything passed the dems get pretty much everything they want in spending and the republicans do the same and the debt goes higher. I strongly support the Trump tax cut which has spurred the economy and jobs and we needed it. As for cutting spending good luck with that. We do not have the will to do it and it is only going to happen when it becomes a crisis and then we will have some really painful cutting when it would be much better to do less painful cutting now...Everyone is to blame here Tex and not just Trump. In 8 years Obama never had the economy that Trump has today and Obama blamed Bush for his bad economy and now is trying to take credit for Trump's.
