stillmotion
Butler was good enough to be cut from the WR hungry cowboys. Hard pass plz. This is nothing but a desperation move if we sign him. No reason we should sign a reciever that can't even make a weak WR hungry team.

Yes but, some around here have been screaming to bring in a warm body. I think he's still alive. Hmmm cut by the Cowboys? Sort of like Dez Bryant, LOL!!!! Clevfan4life
ic no reason not to.try him out at this point. Its not like we can be picky unless he's a prob child. If he cant get open and cant catch, than he's exactly what we have now and gets cut at the end of the season.
Clevfan4life
the only reason u dont bring a wr in at this point is cause they dont play nice with others

Scraping the bottom of the barrel at WR. Not much better for defensive backs, signing guys off of other teams practice squads. But it does show the depth of our current scouting- previous FO iterations would have been helpless to follow up when the injury bug hit.
jcam222
Brice Butler would likely be our leading receiver within two weeks.
CLEVELANDwantsPLAYOFFS
I was surpised to see Perriman playing so well. Maybe FO is trying to get deals on players looking to revive their careers?
Tour2ma
Butler has size and speed and hops... and a long history of not realizing his potential. However, I have to agree with Cleve... unless he's a head case, which does not seem to be the case, then WTF....
