I kind of find it unusual that 3 different NFL games are on in Ohio and the BROWNS are on in 3 states up north and 7 states down south.

3QDJ.gif    Yea "Primetime" got one. But in the end, the Browns win 13-10 at The Muni on 12-16-90.                                                                     Play happened right in front of our seats.Back than aka Referee Randy & others never sat in their seats.Let's see this week if the Refs can stay in the right positions as this to get the calls right...TNF game with Panthers at Pittsburgh will be called by a 30 yr. vet Walt Coleman and a crew of 24,17,17,9,4,1 of experience. Falcons at Browns game will be called by 22 yrs of service Pete Morelli calling his 308th NFL game.Pete's crew has been solid this season with experience crew also of 23,19,17,17,2,1 yrs of service..Pete Morelli has a 7-9 record with Browns. Calling his 2nd cross division game since Rams in 2015.  EDit--Once again last week, Baker takes blow to head, called off field for 3 plays for testing from a sideline doc.. But once again... No Flag was Thrown..either call the nonsense..or get rid of the nonsense & play some real 🏈

Oklahoma Sooners...

Sooners got that name when the Oklahoma Territory got opened for settlement. They beat the "official"starting time.

I don't know what are you talking about, sincerely.

If you mean Yogi Berra, player and long time coach of the New York Yankees. Many famous quotes "Yogi-isms" attributed to him. "It's not over until it's over" among others. Here's another great one “Always go to other people's funerals, otherwise they won't come to yours.”

Now I understand. I'm fine on this side of the Atlantic :D

By that do you mean that you don't want to take a trip to Oklahoma?   I spent a week there in August. There are any number of interesting things to see and do there.

A few  iterations of the "Trail of Tears" in the 1830s took several nations worth of Native Americans in Georgia, Tennessee and Alabama and, after killing upwards of half of them on the forced march there in the dead of winter, dropped them off in Oklahoma.  The upshot is that today there's lots of descedents of folks originally from the "greater" Atlanta area living in Oklahoma, as this tv distribution map so clearly shows.

Oklahoma used to be "Indian Territory" until it got co-opted by the US Government. But there's still a lot of folks in Norman interested in Baker.  :) Don't get me started on the Trail of Tears.   Bury my Heart at Wounded Knee should be required reading for everyone. How the West was lost from the Native American perspective.

One quote I've committed to memory I first saw in a Real Estate Agent's office in Estes Park Colorado- from the Arapaho Chief Red Cloud.  "When the white man came, he made to us many promises, more than I can remember. But he never kept but one. He promised to take our land- and he took it."

I wonder if they will play it at the Winstar Casino just across the Red River in Oklahoma. I should see if I still have a free night stay there. That would make it worth driving up on Sunday.

You should call them on that.

Meanwhile Oklahoma has become Cleveland Browns South.
