The Gipper
Here is the Browns vs. Falcons Trivia thread. Honestly, the Falcons are perhaps the most uninteresting NFL franchise out there..when it comes to this sort of thing...so I had to stretch it on some questions: 1. What is the all time Head to Head record between the Browns and Falcons? 2. What 3 players that led the Falcons in receiving for a season also played for the Browns? 3. What 2 players that made the Pro Bowl with the Falcons also played for the Browns? 4. Who was the very first draft pick of the Atlanta Falcons franchise? 5. What is the name of the Stadium the Falcons play in? 6. Only 2 players have been inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame primarily for their service as members of the Atlanta Falcons. Name these 2 players. 7. Falcons GM Tom Dmitroff is a native of what city? 8. The Falcons have appeared in two Super Bowls, losing both. Who did they lose to in each of them? 9. The Falcons are one of 4 teams that were "expansion teams" in the mid 1960s shortly after the AFL/NFL merger was announced. Which are the other 3 teams that came into existence within the same couple of years as the Falcons? 10. The Browns and Falcons only play once every 4 years. What happened the last time they played....in 2014.

mjp28
4. Who was the very first draft pick of the Atlanta Falcons franchise? That was indeed UT ferocious LB Tommy Nobis in 1966 during those good Darrell Royale teams and my junior year in HS. He battled knee injuries his whole career on a not so good Falcons teams. He also died recently partly from head and other injuries and was one of the participants in the NFL settlement to help with CTE costs. An old fashioned warrior. Nobis was taken #1 overall the year after Butkus was taken #3 overall. Ironically the year the Bears took him @#3 they took a little straggler @#4 overall, some guy name Gale Sayers.🤩
