tinythinker
Current record... Players are asking for fans to stick with them, but it wouldn't be a shocker to see lots of talent traded away for a rebuild. Either way, is the team headed back to that kind of gutter or do they pull it together and make some kind of progress?

tinythinker
That's not working out... Quote https://sports.yahoo.com/report-kyle-korver-asked-traded-170016080.html The first player Altman ever signed to a contract as GM was Kyle Korver. It was a three-year, $22 million deal inked in July of 2017, but it came with an understanding: If LeBron were to leave, the Cavs would either trade Korver or buy him out of the deal so he could move his family to his next team during the summer. So when LeBron left July 1 for the Lakers, Korver asked for the Cavs to move him. They refused because, they told him, they wanted him to play and for the team to try and win. A middling veteran that brings not much to the table at this point except a body to take up minutes....and he will be no part of whatever future this team has. Thanks for helping bring a title.......but....sayonara.

They should trade him at least, to try to get something in return.
tinythinker
I actually enjoyed listening to the last two games. The Cavs came up short against Orlando and Oklahoma City, and I definitely hope for a rebuild with some new talent, but there have been some great stretches in some of the games this season. Better than total failure for all four periods.
tinythinker
Chicago game was also fun to listen to even thought it ended in a loss, then tonight vs. Charlotte (which was 7-6) the Cavs won with an impressive 89-113 score. They aren't going to be a playoff team, but at least they can out some good runs together and make some games close.
