I get your point though, they went all out to not get him on the SC. I imagine the same thing would have happened with the roles reversed because of how pivotal it was. Now that leads to a discussion about the SCOTUS becoming completely politacized and adding term limits, but that's something else. Either way, this country is becoming way, way too divided politically and we aren't going to accomplish anything. It's more important the other guy loses than anybody, including the American people, win. Throw in lobby corruption, etc etc and here we are. Stuart I'm not through with you, even though you cant read this. So the same thing would have happened had the roles were reversed eh?...including conservatives disrupting the proceedings with their hissy fits of rage? Including conservatives paying other people to disrupt the proceedings? Well Woodley, these things would have happened too?...

calfoxwc
This is part III... has links to part I and part II The left craves permanent power. To get it, they have to own the Supreme Court, and run it. This IS what used to be the democratic party. It's a marxist movement, spurred on by whatever psychological mass trends happen in parts of a country where fake outrage at everything takes hold. And, with control of two critical Federal Branches, the Executive and Judiciary, along with control of the mass media apparatus and the massive federal bureaucracy, the actual composition of Congress would, likely, have been, at least, in the short term of less critical importance. calfoxwc
referencing the above revolutionary dirtbag above: https://mainefirstmedia.com/2018/09/socialism-in-maine-part-iii-the-mainstreaming-of-maine-marxism/ "L-L intellectuals who expose themselves to gunfire rarely come from academia, but there are always some who edge cautiously toward the revolutionary barricades by taking public positions. We’ve seen columns in the Portland Press Herald by Professors Vail and Hilliard defending Democratic legislators against the Maine Economic Research Institute’s (MERI) low ratings for small business support. This pair identify themselves as “economists working on Maine policy issues and as citizens wanting our fellow voters to be well-informed.” Track him down, and you’ll find that Vail describes himself elsewhere as a “progressive economist.” who specializes in “socialist and post-socialist economic systems.” Prof. Hilliard, we discover, was once a member of a commune dedicated to “living socialist and feminist ideals” in his younger years. Susan Feiner, a Professor of Economics and Women and Gender Studies at the University of Southern Maine, wrote her attack on MERI’s objectivity for the Lewiston Sun Journal. She is co-editor of Radical Economics, co-author of Liberating Economics and sole author of Out of the Margin: Feminist Perspectives on Economic Theory." It is inevitable. There is no way around it. Belief to the contrary is based in at best faulty analysis, and at worst pure wishful thinking. Those serious about revolution, that is, the fundamental transformation of all of the most basic social, political, and most importantly economic, relationships that underlay our society, do not have the luxury of such pleasant delusions as those that occupy the fantasies of reformists, moderates, gradualists, and those of similar stripe. To not, among all the other work that is involved, prepare to use and deploy violence in pursuit of revolutionary ends is an egregious abdication of responsibility.
