Great story cal!!

Several years after the collapse of S. Vietnam I met a Vietnamese engineer working for IMB in Austin who offered to translate a request to locate both my former translator, SSgt Le Van Ngoc and Capt. Vinh Vu, whom I had worked with in Vietnam. I credit both for keeping me alive there since I was the newby who didn't know Sheet compared to all their years of experience. The engineer sent my request to a national Vietnamese publication in which I had written I was willing to sponsor either here if anyone could help me locate them. I regret to say I never got a response, so I have no idea what happened to them after the war. Those two guys were lucky to have found one another again.

PS-in going to the website I found that the company is located right down in San Antonio, Texas.

In researching BRCC I found that they started in Utah but have roasting facilities in Tenn. and another part of the company in San Antonio. Love this video interview from about 8 months back. Veterans own it and hire vets and women to run it.

BTW I found that the closet place to me that sells it is Central Texas Harley Davidson. A good friend of mine that I play RB with owns Harley stores in Killeen (lots of vets plus Ft. Hood there) and Belton, Texas. I sent him information on this and asked him to carry the coffee there in his stores as well.

I love it - I can go right down the road to an outdoor/hunting/fishing store, and they sell it.

Great for them.

My ccw instructor was 4.5 years in Spec Op. On one really dangerous mission, his best friend on their team was killed, ...

he carried his body back to the pickup point - got him home. I'm switching to Black Rifle coffee soon - and may buy him some, too.

I guarantee he will appreciate that far beyond your expectations. I was in the auto line at the local Mickey Ds and the guy in the car behind me spotted my Texas License plate with Bronze Star Medal on it (free with no registration tax in our state) and paid for our meals by the time I got to the pay window. I guess he told the order window to put our order on his bill. It was so different from the way we were treated after Vietnam that I cannot tell you how much I appreciated his gesture. I don't forget it and have told many people about it since, including you now.
