How many sacks has baker taken? The blocking scheme right now is obviously doing great

Sigh..... again.....

Sacks vs full speed blindside hits because somebody missed an assignment are two vastly different things.

baker held the ball for easily 7+ seconds on sunday. That obviously shows wr'r werent gettibg open. Most of those sacks were coverage sacks. Again, the lack of commitment to the run.......its why we lost as badly as we did imo. This ckearly is an offense built for the run-to-pass.....but haley, i just dont get him right now.

Baker should be adjusting the run plays at the los and pulling the ball back when he sees something. One of the smartest qb's in recent times and we're running sht like an urban meyer offense. Smh

I’m trying to take a positive out of all those attempts, that being the reps. Browns were playing behind and the chargers lead kept growing, so the mistakes happened. Hopefully he’ll grow from it.

I'm hoping they see how Duke played and decide to use him more. He's a different type of RB from Chubb and Hyde so if CLE can't pound it you got a RB in Duke who brings a different skillset.

I feel like this statement might as well be played on a loop, because it feels like we've been saying the same thing over and over.

Duke should get 10-15 touches every game. He's not a workhorse, but 10-15 touches a game is not a burdensome load for him to bear.

Agreed, especially when you see how productive other good receiving RBs around the league have been & are.

If you're looking to me to get on the Hue bashing wagon, you're barking up the wrong tree.

Hue will be evaluated by folks far more qualified than you or me.

Depends on how much you think he still influences the happening ons for the offense.

It was a common complaint when Hue was his own OC, though.

well according to the ghoul hue is running everything and the rest are just lackies

He has a bit fresher legs. Let him be the workhorse for a few weeks and let carlos get a couple relief innings in per week.

We're not running enough. We need to avg  around 30 carries a week. The 1 should get 15-18 of those and the rest of the carrys split between the #2  and duke.

The pass makes the run possible. The fake Browns didn't pass for schidt last week.

Depends upon when the decision on how much to use Duke occurs.

If it's on Monday in the game plan meetings, then it's on Hue. If it's play calls within the flow of a given game that's primarily on Haley, although Hue can call at any time to "feature" Duke for a series.

CLE just going to have to be like NE. Use RBs based on defensive matchups and game situation instead of relying on a bellcow

And how can we forget that the BROWNS are coming off of 1-31, they still are very much still in rebuilding mode not like NE and in the continuing just reloading more.....but they do a good job of filling holes. Belichick love him or hate him does know football (and the latest cheating techniques).

The BROWNS still need another good talent procurement year to even think about getting over .500.

Since the MO of this place is for people to return from the dead and pound on their chest, I'll present you with:

Nick Chubb is going to be one of the better steals in this draft.

Guy has has tremendous vision and patience to be a successful runner in the NFL. Add in the fact that he’s a physical freak and he’ll be a starter sooner rather than later.

And he’ll go in the second round.
