Well most of those Republicans voted against Bill Clinton as opposed to, let's just call them the other party.

And did you use the term attempted rape in your heading?

This was the question

34. Assault disqualifying If it were proven that Brett Kavanaugh sexually assaulted a woman when they were both high school students 36 years ago, do you think that does or does not disqualify Kavanaugh from being a Supreme Court Justice?

And the poll was by The Economist / YouGov

if i recall correctly, the "accusation" is he held her down and was going to rape her right? but she managed to get away when him and his buddy forgot about her and started blowing each other. Do i have that right? how much of that did i get right?

So the accusation by a crazy woman is your source? Thanks.

But your own noticeably slanted article says sexual assault not attempted. You should apply for a job as a headlight writer for The Blaze.

But, and I know it's probably impossible free people who are hyperventilating over this, quite possibly a crime even if someone is convicted of it 30 or 40 years ago would not necessarily make them incapable of doing a good job no matter what that was. The problem in a pseudo democracy like ours would be the Optics.

Sexual assault could mean a pat on the butt.

Had it been proven Kavanaugh assaulted this woman as an adult then yes, he should be disqualified.

But Kavanaugh "assaulted" this woman as a 17yr. old high school kid. To disqualify him after compiling a spotless record all his adult working life would be ludicrous.

Those that voted no got it right...because they used logic and reason.....qualities rare amongst libtards.

Yes I suppose you can say that.  The first impression you get from this article is that the majority of Republican voters... who happened to get the question right...must be sexual deviants.

Why they got it right is explained in the above post. They used logic and reason.

Your thread title was absurd, and you trying to explain it away is even more absurd.

More proof there's no debating libtards.

The respondents were responding to the question being asked...not responding to some story being told.

are u able to read the english language properly? they're pretty clearly referring to not some vague broad def of sexual assault. They're referring to the specific accusations. And if they're true they are absolutely disqualifying

Boys will be boys.  At least that used to be true............

i buy that up to a point. I never personally witnessed what christine ford alleges happened to.her....i would never associated with dudes like that. And i was at plenty parties where both guys and girls were sloppy AF. But we know this sht happens, and it isnt just "boys will be boys". Was the stanford kid just being a rowdy youth in ur eyes?

yes or no answer, would u have shot a lil ngr that did to ur daughter what Ford claims was done to her? I think we all know that answer so im gonna go ahead and ask do u think its wise in a society to say "boys just bein boys"? cause they hear/read that.....and some of em will think well i might as well get that rape itch out of my system now

Yes I understand how they can be. I know you know too. I just don't think you should ignore every poll from here on out.

You're in the hospital with chest pains. You have one world-renowned heart surgeon and one new resident. The world renowned guy is reported to have beat his wife 30 or 40 years ago. Who do you want to operate?

WSS

ur equating a medical specialist with a position like scotus? cause in ur case, the wife beating prob doesnt matter...whereas a scotus, that kind of behavior in his background could absolutely affect his rulings
