However, fans of that team should not worry....another company has stepped forward to fill in the void. Heinz Co. plans to keep its name on the football field on the North Shore that the Pittsburgh Steelers call home, even as a planned merger with the Kraft Foods Group could turn the business into the new Kraft Heinz Co. A spokesman for Heinz told reporters on a conference call this morning that he’d had a conversation with the NFL team today. “It’ll remain Heinz Field,” said Michael Mullen, senior vice president of corporate and government affairs.
