Extremist/right-wing violence

Recommended Posts

Well lets see how long the Liberal Press beats this horse.

And mz the pussy, its called making a choice regardless of anyway someone was brought up or if this was pre destined, I would have a hard time believing it.

Now if you want to ponder Psychoanalytic theory, how about trying on something near MKULTRA.

nobody is born evil but has his or her real life experiences shape and, really, create his or her negative/antisocial/"evil" feelings.

See merit in that statement, nobody I believe is born evil but poor parenting, abuses of all kinds ,social unacceptance or any kind of lifes tragedy's could make a "normal" child act out in any number of ways including evil.

Not just to be contrary but I do think we're all born "evil" since behaving as mammals, in many cases, does not mesh with the artificial boundaries of society.

Are we not men?

As for that question, I think domestic right-wing extremism is certainly more violent than left-wing extremism.

What examples of left-wing terrorism do you have, eco-terrorism?

9/11 comes to mind.

WSS

So yes, I think right-wing extremism is more dangerous, especially right now when they're out of power.

This is surely the most ignornat thread started by anybody in a long time.

You cherry pick a few incidents of crime, and attribute that to a generalization across the board,

conveniently vs conservatives ?

Heck, YOU must be disturbed to try to politicize that against the right.

(that's poetic justice again !)

Your holier-than-thou nitpicking is now a waste of time on the board.

Here, check this out:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Unite...nation_attempts

Of major crimes, like assasination attempts, there are deranged, violent criminals who have

killed/attempted to kill presidents, for example.

It doesn't have anything to do with slurring against one political side or the other.

Mental illness runs the gamut:

Liberals (like the one member of the LIberal party), leftists, communists, rightists,

angry vengeful crazy people with an axe to grind, ...

We can call some of them "true believers" from different backgrounds and philosophies,

but "insanity" applies to people here and there, who violently act out whatever their

motivations lead them to.

Go look at the backgrounds of the people involved in these crimes.

The premise of this thread is embarrassing to you, I think, eventually...

Now, I attacked the substance of the thread.

The one "you must be.." I even admitted

was just poetic justice of what Heck said elsewhere.

Kinda like self-dense, but I didn't "start the fire"...

(that's a Billy Joel reference, Heck, just so you know)

That point I made was valid, though.

We are Devo.

One never has to teach a baby to love - their love is unfiltered and absolutely genuine. Did anybody ever meet a baby that 'hates'?

So.................we learn to hate. We don't need to learn how to love. That is inate.

Well, let's see,

we could redefine "leftwing" as being

anti-status quo...

and the terrorists hate that we and Israel exist,

so they are against the status quo....

it's going to take a little time for me to get the hang

of lib's redefinition of words, like what the definition

of "is" is....

im tripped up trying to rationalize your connection of left-wing to anti-status quo....no clue where that bull shit came from, but the entire premise is based on this assumption.

so i'll approach it this way....

these terrorists are religious extremists.....more closely compared to our friendly christian extremists....so i contend that 911 was a right -winged extremist plot.

see how easy, and utterly stupid, that was?

I'm just getting to this now, mz the pussy.

Steve, honestly. 9/11 was an act of left-wing domestic terrorism? Or even left-wing terrorism?

Of all the stupid things you've said, this might be the dumbest. Wow.

Gee Heck the hijackers lived here among us legally.

And left wing?

Sure Heck.

WTF do you think Al Queda is fighting against other than the US Israel and the Royal power structure in the middle east?

Power to the peeps Heck.

************************************

Yes, I sure do, but it has nothing legit to it, like my analogy DOES:

*******************************************

In politics, left-wing, political left, leftist and the Left are terms applied to positions that focus on changing traditional social orders and creating a more egalitarian distribution of wealth and privilege.

See? Choco? applied to positions that focus on CHANGING traditional social orders and changing to a more egalitarian distribution of wealth and privilege?

Say, now, doesn't that sound like "anti-status quo" to you? Eh? (that's from Wikipedia, btw)

*****************************************************************

and:

"The phrase left-wing was coined during the French Revolution, when left-wing referred to the seating arrangements in parliament; those who sat on the left opposed the traditional hierarchies and supported radical reform.

The concept of a distinct political left originated with the June Days Uprising of 1848. The organizers of the First International saw themselves as the successors of the left-wing of the French Revolution. In contemporary political discourse, the term the Left usually means either social liberal or socialist.[1][2] The term is also used to describe ideologies such as communism, anarchism and social democracy.[3][4]

*******************************

So, "Left" usually means either social liberal or socialist... and also is used to ideologies such as communism, anarchism and "social

democracy"...

Hmmmm. Fancy that. Now, can you back up YOUR analogy Choco? (sorry, but I used my analogy correctly. You, did not.)

But, I agree with you - your analogy was stupid. Congrats.

So, anybody who does follow the link can review the backgrounds of assasins and would-be assasins,

and realize that Heck's premise for a thread is so bigoted and totally discredited,

that all he has is bickering with Steve to save face.

Truth is, cherry picking a couple of violent crimes to infer folks on the right

tend to be violent is bs. Check out the backgrounds of those who committed the crimes,

and you can't miss realizing it.

Well, unless you're pompous Heck wearing the "Emperor's new clothes"

Steve, that is truly the most idiotic thing you've ever claimed on this board.

What a tool.

Do you think that fascism theocracy and socialism are somehow mutually exclusive?

Do you think driving the western exploiters out of Arab lands and sharing the oil wealth among the Muslim people is some kind of capatalist plot?

Were the hijackers in the US in the US as invaders or perfectly legal guests?

{even though the "domestic" part was Heck's idea as his semi literate acolytes should know)

You're so detemined to paint Republicans as "right wing extremists" you give the left wing a pass.

That's beyond idiotic Heck.

You should at least read the prospectus before you send the check.

I think that some people might be wired wrong due to genetics so that person may have a predisposition to abnormal behavior but I dont think you can say that person is inherently evil.

Well only in the sense that we often describe natural urges as evil.

Most of us can control those urges and I guess some just can't, or have a harder time doing it.

Society does ask us to disavow many normal animal urges.

good job cal. you fail at making the connection of Left = terrorists. you eloquently talk about how left is anti-status quo....and say nothing about the rest. analogies have 2 parts.....but i digress.

crazy christians kill people for their beliefs.

crazy muslims kill people for their beliefs.

i dont have to run a diatribe trying to justify my intolerance.

Choco, you questioned and challenged me to identify the left with anti-status quo.

YOU brought up terrorists are like Christians, and that's inane.

There are plenty of terrorists who are not religious at all, take Darfur for example.

Terrorists are true believers in any cause, that act out in despicable acts

of extreme violence for dominance attempting reasons.

You are missing the point, Choco. The point is, the original post of the thread,

in the beginning, is "right wing extremism" with a few cherry picked examples.

I take issue with that, so I replied to show the fallacy of the "argument".

Now, given that left=anti-status quo, which I clearly showed,

and the Islamic terrorists who want to change the world into an Islamic world,

and want to change countries into Islamic countries, and want to wipe Israel off

the map and want to kill Jews out of existence anywhere in the world...

would not that be considered "anti-status quo" ?

So, an act of devastating terror-based violence, is an act to change the status quo, which is,

we and Israel exist, and are not Islamic nations.

So, in conclusion, terrorists are anti-status quo, thereby they have some connection to the

left in basic "change philosophy". But, the left may be anti-status quo, but certainly not terrorists

for the most part.

So are Muslims not terrorists.

So, terrorists are anti-status quo, and THEY are willing to commit extreme violence to that end,

and that means that anti-status quo Islamic extremists hit us on 9/11.

And that means the perpetrators of 9/11 have the anti-status quo label in common with the left.

So, basically, those terrorists can be considered an extreme violent using-a-religion-as-a-path-to-power branch

off from the anti-status quo left.

Now, a religious crazed zeolot who wants to stop all abortions, and commits murder to what he thinks is his goal,

is anti-status quo, and that lends credence to his being on the left.

If you're anti-status quo, a leftist, and you are willing to commit grave crimes to instill fear into others to that end,

you're a terrorist.

If you are a conservative who supports the status quo, then why fight what already is that you agree with?

Just think about it, Choco.

Yeah, still the most idiotic thing you've ever claimed on this board. And getting more idiotic.

I never thought I'd have to explain the difference between a domestic terrorist and foreign nationals who commit terror within the US, but apparently this is something we can't assume is common knowledge.

The domestic terrorist and the foreign national terrorists BOTH

are anti-status quo to a criminally insane level.

Anti status quo = leftist.

This is unbelievable. To give those 19 piles of shit any kind of credence as a sliver of a part of our country is infuriating. Domestic nothing. Sorry.

Trying to write these guys off as leftwing domestic terrorists is silly.

Was Bill Ayers too obvious? Or am I on "the grid" now for typing his name?

Steve had a point.

No, cal, he absolutely did not.

9/11 = Islamic Fundamentalists = religious extremism = right wing. The 9/11 terrorists weren't anti-status quo by a long shot, they were in favor of their own twisted status quo.

Choco said this yesterday. See how this game gets played?

Saying something is "right-wing" is different than saying it's "Republican". Saying something is "left-wing" is different than saying it's "Democrat."

The ALF, Earth First, the ELF - these are left-wing groups that have been associated with domestic terrorism. The Symbionese Liberation Army, the Weather Underground - those were left-wing groups that committed acts of domestic terrorism.

Al Qaeda is ...a left-wing domestic terror group?

...This argument is so stupid I can't even make my hands type any more.

Heck,

Would you like to know why this is such a silly argument?

Many think I was wrong to start the limbaugh thread but if you realize he is their teacher you begin to understand why its sometimes not worth the argument.

Good work dan.

Heck says stupid shit, gets called on it and right on cue you scream "Limbaugh!!!"

Its the year 2009 and with it comes new definitions like we had under slick Willy. (The word IS.)

So because of the new definitions we need to look at the DHS on "Right Wing Terrrism"

DHS Report Here!

"This is the job of DHS, to assess what is happening in this country, with regard to homegrown terrorism, and determine whether it's an actual threat or not, and that's what these assessments do. This is nothing unusual. These assessments are done all the time. This is about awareness," the official told FOX News on Monday.

FOX News has obtained a copy of the assessment, dated Jan. 26 and titled "Left-wing Extremists Likely to Increase Use of Cyberattacks Over the Coming Decade." It concentrates largely on the technical savvy of left-wing extremists and not bloodshed.

"The perception that cyberattacks are non-violent aligns well with ideological beliefs, strategic objectives and tactics of many left-wing extremists," the earlier report reads. "The increasing reliance of commercial business and other enterprises on cyber technologies, including interconnected networks and remote access, creates new and expanding vulnerabilities that technically savvy left-wing extremists will exploit."

The report specifically mentions "eco-terrorist" Earth Liberation Front, which has been accused of firebombing construction sites, logging companies, car dealerships and food science labs. The report notes that left-wing extremists prefer economic damage on businesses to get the message across.

"Their no-harm doctrine includes claiming to ensure the safety of humans, animals and the environment even as they attack businesses and associated operations," the report reads. " Direct actions range from animal releases, property theft, vandalism and cyber attacks, all of which extremists regard as non-violent, to bombings and arson."

The assessment says it "focuses on the more prominent leftwing groups within the animal rights, environmental, and anarchist extremist movements that promote or have conducted criminal or terrorist activities."

Some might call this lady a terrorists!

Wolf Blitzer just ran a segment yesterday that basicly said Obamas' election is causing the 'fringe element' to become violent.

It went so far as to point out all three recent incidents, and tried to link them to Obamas speeches. Suggesting that the Pres. is somehow intimidating them.

I guess that means to keep everyone safe, Obama has to keep his mouth shut. :D

What seems Funny, they didn't mention that muslim guy that killed that soldier.

Im sure that was just another one of those assault guns that just jumped in the hands of an innocent sweet muslim guy and pointed itself to a soldier and fired itself.

Remember now, he had a deprived childhood and if it wasnt for the MAN he would have been a banker or stock broker or doctor.
