I've been a regular on stage for three decades now . Recently somebody started running bus trips from the hood in Detroit to the island on Christmas in July. The event has always been crowded and pretty rowdy because of all the drunken college kids but when you add hundreds upon hundreds of people from the hood it really turned ugly. These photos and videos don't really show the extent of the problem. No idea why black people feel the need to block roadways, harass the servers and destroy property but it's almost impossible to pass through the streets. And the filth leftover is worse that any college kid weekend imaginable. Police and law enforcement and even Village officials are scared to death of riots. And at the police do their jobs of course there will be the usual calls of you-know-what from you-know-who. Unfortunate and disgusting. And of course it's not everybody.
