The Gipper
ESPN has come out with a Tier system for ranking the QBs in the NFL. Unfortuneatly, in order to get their full list, you have to be a part of their insider program and pay just to read their bullshite. Fuyuck them on that. But they did give their list of the Top 4 who were: 1. Aaron Rodgers 2. Tom Brady 3. Drew Brees 4. Ben Roethlisberger Notice this fact: of these top 4....Their respective ages when the season start are: Rodgers 34, Brady 41, Brees 39, and BR 36. The Gipper
Here is the list of the other projected starters to begin the season. Of course, as we know some of these may get beat out in training camp...and other may start but not finish the season. Still, these are the projected starters for all the other teams except for the 4 above. I have grouped them by age classification, oldest to youngest: Josh McCown Jets age 39 Eli Manning Giants age 37 Phillip Rivers Chargers ag 36 Alex Smith Redskins 34 Joe Flacco Ravens 33 Matt Ryan Falcons 33 Case Keenum Broncos 30 Sam Bradford Cardinals 30 Kirk Cousins Vikings 30 Matt Stafford Lions 30 Andy Dalton Bengals 30 Ryan Tannehill Dolphins 30 Russell Wilson Seahawks 29 Andrew Luck Colts 29 Tyrod Taylor Browns 29 Cam Newton Panthers 29 Nick Foles Eagles 29 (Wentz= 25) AJ McCarron Bills 28 Derek Carr Raiders 27 Jimmy Garropolo 49ers 26 Blake Bortles Jaguars 26 Dak Prescott Cowboys 25 Jameis Winston Bucs 24 (even though suspended at first) Marcus Mariota Titans 24 Mitch Trubisky Bears 24 DeShaun Watson Texans 23 Patrick Mahomes Chiefs 23 Jared Goff Rams 23 For these last 3....Patrick Mahomes is the youngest of all.....but he is only 3 days younger than DeShaun Watson (in fact....both Mahomes and Watson are younger than Baker Mayfield by about 5 months)

The Gipper
I guess I can go a little Ghoolie braggadoccio here....and note that since no one has argued with my QB rankings here, that I must be the perfect genius on this board...as every one of my opinions have gone completely unchallenged. Tacosman
the most recent reports have indicated wentz will be healthy enough to start then...regardless, who cares whether he isn't deemed healthy enough to go until week 2 or even week 3. for the purpose of your post(assigning tiers in qb), it only makes sense to list the player who will start the great majority of the year. Yes, I suppose, but I am NOT convinced that Wentz will be ready to go full bore until about midseason.
