The new darling of the demoquacks - raised in a struggling neighborhood...(nope), really smart - (nah),

engaging ...socialist....young woman who talks too fast and who is an avowed socialist.

Enough already with the leftwing anti-American revolutionary bigmouth stuff, says I.

Now, I'm retired, only took a couple of economics classes in college many years ago, don't remember much from those..

but seriously, most Americans know better than to accept some of her really dumb emotional knee jerk statements on economics.

Well how about instead of just finding sources to do nothing but vilify, we actually have a conservative engaging her in a real conversation on "Firing Line with Margaret Hoover".

BTW there is also a worthwhile interview Hoover has with Paul Ryan you can also click on.

I like her program. She's willing to interview all viewpoints and actually engage them in thoughtful discussion, which is a refreshing change from all the over-yelling programs on combative TV that we now see far too much.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, the celebrated, 28-year-old Democratic nominee for Congress in New York’s 14th district, appeared on PBS’s Firing Linereboot last week to discuss herself.

The conversation was a broad overview of Ocasio-Cortez’s positions on capitalism, education, and foreign policy. One widely circulated highlight was Ocasio-Cortez’s reference to the “occupation” of Palestine, which host Margaret Hoover asked her to clarify. She responded by saying that she supposed she was referring to the Israeli settlements in “some of these areas,” which make it difficult for Palestinians to access “their housing and homes.” Hoover asked for a fuller explanation but got only Ocasio-Cortez’s demurral that she was “not the expert on geopolitics on this issue.”
