Intelligent Life Elsewhere in the Universe?

Recommended Posts

Well maybe not on the Browns Board, but these Oxford guys think we are alone as an intelligent species. Funny thing is if you follow their reasoning past where they go, then you have to also conclude there is no intelligent life anywhere, including us, to even ponder the question. I kind of think this proves there is no intelligent life in the Oxford team that came to this conclusion. What do you think (or not if they are right)?

Just done to stir up controversy.

It has been determined that there could be millions of "Class M" planets out there.   (Star Trek terminology for Earth like planets)

Of course there are probably millions or billions of planets with intelligent life.  The Universe in unending.
