There are idiots here who would seriously contemplate killing you for being different and standing up for it. If the state doesn't like the results then it should approve "her" competing with the boys. You can't have it both ways and just not let her compete with anyone. If you've ever known anyone who is truly transgender, they will tell you they have thought of themselves as the opposite of their birth certificate as far back as memory takes them. I had a friend growing up that was very effeminate, preferred to play "house" with the girls, loved the piano and later in life became an accomplished professor of English. I don't know for sure if he ever actually came out as transgender, but none of us in the neighborhood ever thought for a second he was a "boy" despite his birth certificate. We were lucky to grow up as kids with someone like Jack and also a Down's Syndrome kid named Paul, both in the same neighborhood. An early life lesson on the value of "different" human beings.
