He needs to shut his mouth then from now on.  Including when Browns games are going on.  Let Haley and Williams...and whomever the special teams coach is now, run their shows, and Hue can just sit back and relax and watch them do their thing.   After all....we don't want to stress him out.

Maybe that is why he seemed not to care about how the team performed.  Didn't want to stress out.

Hue is actually jumping in for charity.

CLEVELAND (AP) Hue Jackson’s shuddering season with the Cleveland Browns will include one last chill.

The coach is keeping his promise and plans to jump into Lake Erie on June 1 in an event for charity and hopefully wash away two long, losing seasons.

Jackson announced Monday on the team’s Twitter account that he will take a dip into the chilly waters in a few weeks. As the Browns were staggering toward a winless 2017 season, Jackson vowed that if the team didn’t improve on its 1-15 record from the previous year that he would take the plunge.

Well, the Browns made history as the second NFL team to go 0-16 and now it’s time for Jackson to pay up.

And get wet.

Jackson pledged that for every Browns employee that joins him in the water he will donate $100 to his foundation, which combats human trafficking in Northeast Ohio. Jackson said his goal is to raise $15,000.

Jackson and his wife, Michelle, began the Hue Jackson Foundation last summer.

The team did not reveal any other details for the private event.

Despite going 1-31 in his two seasons, Jackson kept his job and now he’s hoping his splashdown can symbolize a new beginning for the Browns.

”I’m hoping to also cleanse ourselves of all the losing for the past two seasons by jumping in,” he said.

He totally b****ed out, but was smart about it. It's not like you can call out a dude in the mainstream for jumping into the water for charity.

read better.

He has a heart stint.

***************************

The immediate shock of the cold causes involuntary inhalation, which if underwater can result in drowning. The cold water can also cause heart attack due to vasoconstriction; the heart has to work harder to pump the same volume of blood throughout the body.

He should have jumped in when it was cold.  What the hell kind of "punishment" is this?

Might smell real bad?

Well...as I said, with a condition like that, perhaps he should not be undertaking the stress of coaching an NFL team.

With this new knowledge, if I was Hugh, I wouldn't go anywhere near the lake until the scheduled jump date as any true Brown's fan seeing him there would push him in. Hint Hint Hint;)

If he has a lick of sense he'll wear a diver's wetsuit.

But then it's Hue so I think I just answered that question.:D

Well tomorrow is the Big day, Hue and roughly 100 fellow Browns employees are taking a dip in Lake Erie.

I hope he doesn’t ruin the fishing. . .

After his jump, nobody will ever catch a fish in Lake Erie again.

Yeah- I want a true jump- not just wade into water knee deep.   The pier at the end of East 9th would be satisfactory, or make it patriotic, go a little farther east and have the old USS Cod for a backdrop...

LOL, I just thought of a great idea- have Joe Thomas take him out on his boat, and have him jump off....

I’ve fished out by the Canadian border a few times, and the Canucks wouldn’t let that happen.

Once you get too close to the international buoys, their Coast Guard will escort you back.

Besides, pushing Hue into Canadian waters could be construed as a form of water pollution.

Give Hue credit. He did it & he (along with many others) went into water that is still pretty damn cold.

I view this as a "Baptism" of sorts. It's a fresh (water) start!......OMG, I just referred to Lake Erie as FRESH water!!!   😲

That's not a jump Po- that's a wadeHUGE difference gradually walking out into cold water, than taking a plunge off (IMHO a wimpy 1 meter springboard) into water where you're instantly wet, and maybe a couple feet of water above your head. I claim no bravery wading into Heart Lake in Yellowstone in 42 degree water temperatures- it is an experience for sure....
