I for one am done picking.

Can only dilute my lone hit at #4 more...

I am 0/5. Damn. Usually get one. I liked Mayfield more but went Allen b/c i thought Dorsey was a damn fool. And I liked Ward a ton but thought Chubb was their guy. I did end up with 5 picks in first round, and 24/32 players were picked. Still rough.

I submitted it last Friday too. if I could have edited it on Thursday bedore the draft I would have had Mayfield. The regrets!

Just looking over my sleeper lists and bunch are gone... some a lot earlier than I thought... or at positions we've addressed already in the Draft.

Here are the ones still standing. Bold are ones I'd target with our remaining 4th, 5th and three 6ths. Package the 6ths for a 5th and maybe a late 7th.

Offense...

  • Dylan Cantrell (WR, Texas Tech) R5
  • Ian Thomas (TE, IU) R4
  • Korey Cunningham (OT, U of Cincinnati) R7

Defense:

  • Ade Aruna (DE, Tulane) R4
  • Bilal Nichols (DT, Delaware) R4/5
  • Genard Avery (LB, Memphis) R4
  • Troy Apke (FS, PSU) R4/5, Godwin Igwebuike (FS, NW) R4, Joshua Kalu (FS, Nebraska) R7

Yeah like trying to get pick #256 Mr Irrevellent correct, I'll give you 20 tries. .  How appropriate this year it goes to that hotbed of professional sports loyalty Atlanta.

Over the past years I think we've noticed how much more involved almost scientific professional, college and even somewhat high school has become in coaching, training, scouting even things like nutrition have become in all sports. Parity has become the name of the game but it is still fun trying to figure it out,  right?

And let's hope the BROWNS have some boring first pick next year like maybe #10 or #12.

GO BROWNS!

For some reason I hate the 3rd day of the draft. I enjoy the next 10 hours after the last day, seeing where the non drafted freeagents go. Would anyone hate if we drafted Shaq Griffin in the 4th round?

actually, I would take a swing at Hurst here in the fourth if he is on the board. He's a round 1 talent. It is worth the risk. I would also go for Griffin. The kid can ball. Yes, he may have limitations, but he flies around the field (just watch his tape). Worst case scenario he is on special teams and that is important part of the team. not to mention, between him and mayfield, i'm not sure anyone is going to outwork this team. If you haven't noticed, there is definitely a theme to this draft

I'm with you there, Belichik certainly knows the benefits of special teams

What is "The Browns Have Reached For Every Pick", Alex?

Who's to say that we have actually reached? More like Dorsey has plucked his board/players to assure getting him..                                                                                                                                                       #33 Corbett.// NYG #34 G W.Hernandez//#35 Chubb//#36.Colts-OLB//#37Colts-G Branden Smith//#38 TB goes RB Ronald Jones...                                                                          A)NYG's/Colts sure could use a guy everywhere on OL..Dorsey left them both picking G's only..                                                                                                                                                                             Dorsey did the same to Colts/TB knowing NYG got Barkley..B)Marlon Mack is Colts only RB(Gore is gone) Dorsey locked his choice RB before Colts & leaving only TB a Ronald Jones..

Drafttek has been keeping an ongoing list 100 players per page and green out those taken as they are taken.

https://www.drafttek.com/Top-100-NFL-Draft-Prospects-2018.asp

On the bottom of this page you can click up each 100 player page in turn. You can keep all 4 open at a time by opening another connection for each.

We will find out soon enough but 2018 might go down in Cleveland Browns history how will Mayfield/Ward compare with Darnold/Chubb or Rosen/Barkley or Allen/Fitzpatrick or any other combo.

Only time will tell. Will the BROWNS ever have the #1 and #4 picks again? Unlikely.
