The Gipper
http://neoscreen.blogspot.com/2009/06/leave-it-to-beaver-is-that-mayfield.html No...it is Mayfield, more than likely. Of course, technically, it is fictional. But more clues than anything else lead to the conclusion that it is Mayfield, Ohio. e.g. his Dad apparently was said to have gone to nearby "Shaker Heights HS" Ergo......Since The Beaver lived in Mayfield Oh., and since he is now to be playing in Cleveland.....and since he is almost a dead ringer for the young Beaver (even though he is from near Austin TX....Lake Travis being near there) His nickname shoud be "The Beaver". TexasAg1969
I have teased my wife for years that she and her 3 sisters grew up in the Beaver cleaver family. No not because there were 4 beavers between 'em, but because the lived the very definition of positive reinforcement all day every day for all 4 of them. She just grins because she knows it's true.
