The Gipper
The small Liberal Arts College of 1600 students where my son attended...is renown for a number of things: giving us one US President, One Swedish Prime Minister, one Supreme Court Chief Justice, one US Secretary of War...and many great authors like E.L Doctorow (Ragtime), John Green, Laura Hillebrand. But it also has give us great actors. Now it has produced another Oscar winner: Allison Janney, who won Best Supporting Actress for I, Tonya, playing Tonya Harding's mother. Previously, Paul Newman, also a Kenyon graduate, won for his reprise of Fast Eddie Felson in The Color of Money. Kenyon also had an Oscar winning Director in Adam Davidson...who got one for directing a short subject back in 1986. He is better known as a TV director, having directed episodes in all of the following series: Law and Order, Six Feet Under, Monk, Lost, Deadwood, Grey's Anatomy, Dexter, Saving Grace, True Blood, Treme, Turn...and others.
