The key is going to be in the Eagles Dline and whether they are able to constantly put pressure on Brady throughout all 4 Qtrs, in my opinion.

ONE MAN'S OPINION, SUPER BOWL LII  SEASON FINALE.......

New England’s run defense has been strong in its past four games with defensive linemen Malcom Brown, Lawrence Guy and Ricky Jean Francois all playing well. Kyle Van Noy’s return to health was an added plus along with the late signing of veteran linebacker James Harrison, who still can effectively rush the passer. The Eagles ranked fourth in scoring defense and fewest yards allowed. Fletcher Cox is a two-time Pro Bowl defensive tackle. He posted 5.5 sacks and helped make the Eagles the toughest team to run against in the NFL.

New England, though, is not a running team. Brady moves the chains by throwing short-to-intermediate passes to Gronkowski, Brandin Cooks, Danny Amendola, Chris Hogan while also frequently targeting running backs James White, Rex Burkhead and Dion Lewis out of the backfield. The Patriots use the pass to  to set up the run not the other way around. Lewis’ versatility is a major weapon. He had 1,110 yards from scrimmage and 10 touchdowns during the regular season despite playing very little in the first five weeks. Lewis had 141 yards from scrimmage in the Patriots’ 35-14 throttling of theTitans in the division round. New England is 8-0 when Lewis exceeds 100 rushing/receiving yards.

The Eagles gave up 2,485 passing yards to receivers, which was the ninth most passing yards in the league, and 199 catches, which was the sixth-highest in the league. Philadelphia did have the fourth-most takeaways and recorded six defensive touchdowns, trailing only the Jaguars’ seven on the season. Patrick Robinson’s pick-six jumped-started the Eagles to their thrashing of the Vikings. Brady, however, ranks with Joe Montana as the best big-game quarterback of all-time. Given a choice of Brady against the Eagles defense and Foles, the choice is going to be Brady. The Patriots are 159-15 for 91 percent when they have a positive turnover differential. Doug Pederson has proven he’s an up-and-coming coach with a sharp offensive mind. But nobody outsmarts Belichick especially when he has two weeks of preparation time.

SO WHAT TO DO? LOOKS LIKE THE PATRIOTS ARE A LOCK COVERED 9 OF THE LAST 10, A SHOE IN, ANOTHER GUARANTEED SUPER BOWL WIN -BUT-.......

WE'RE BROWNS FANS AND WE BET THE UNDERDOGS!  PHILADELPHIA +4 AND OVER 48 BABY!

ENJOY THE GAME!  ;)

How could that be an OT score?  If the game is tied, say 35-35 at the end of regulation....and NE kicks a FG on their first trip down the field, how do the Eagles then score on a 4 pt. play?

The ONLY way I could see that score happening is if:   Score tied 31-31 at the end of regulation.  NE gets the KO....scores a TD and an extra pt.  Then Philly gets the ball...scores a TD...and then scores on a 2 pt. conversion.

But that can't happen either...can it?  Because...under current rules, if the team that gets the ball first scores a TD...the game is over, no?

So...come on now...give us your scenario.

both teams are so well coached..Gronk blocks his assigned DE. FB Devlin blocks assigned LB..Philly has not missed a assignment in secondary..but that damn Memphis Ghoonie kicker misses extra point..

STEELERS REMAIN THE GREATEST TEAM IN THE HISTORY OF THE NFL.

6 Super Bowl Wins.

What you saw tonight was that defense is neutralized by great offense. Collingsworth called it right. He said his was like fast break football. When an offense is run properly, that is to say, attack style, you see that defense is relatively meaningless. Yes, you need the D to hopefull make a stop or get a lucky turnover, but it is offense that wins championships.

THe Browns deed to quit fukcking around drafting offensive linemen and Zumba instructors. QB, RB, WR, TE............... THAT is 90% of football.

Why Foles might remain an Eagle  (from another thread):

1. Philadelphia Eagles

Why it could happen: This is all about Wentz's recovery. He tore his ACL in December, roughly nine months before the start of the 2018 season. So, Wentz -- a quarterback who relies on his mobility behind the line of scrimmage -- might not be fully healthy in time for the regular season. Just because Adrian Peterson did it doesn't mean Wentz will be able to.

When NFL named it the Super Bowl, that's the game Fans are looking for :). Like many..How many thought Brady is going to pull this game out again? or How many thought, when was Jim Schwartz defense going to make a play? Great game to watch. Hoping G.Williams watched Schwartz formula of success is getting there with 4 up front. Beats getting caught with several blitzes not getting there at all..Lets put some names to the play of the game. I felt great for the Rookie from Tennessee DE Nick Barnett. Nick recovered the fumble that sealed the deal since 1960 last SB win for Philly..Nick was drafted at #14 this season & was greeted by booling Philly fans wanting weapons for Wentz..Funny how that worked out Philly Fan? Patriots #69 RG Shaq Mason, 3 years out of Georgia Tech got schooled by a 8 year grad from Michigan Brandon Graham on a bull rush with swimmove smacking straight into Brady arm with eyes on the prize..the football.. Down goes the Evil Empire II..Congrats Eagles..There are some good Eagles Fan..Shared Beers with many wearing Browns Gear..Just don't put skirts on Rocky. They think he's a living Character. The Philly Creeps will show up to those strutting Cowboys & Giants Gear.. Awesome Game..

The game is won in the trenches. Time honored words of truth that still apply to this day.

The right side of the NE OL line crumbled. The NE D never got to Foles. O lineman are worth their weight in gold.
